I ordered this product in July of last year. At first I thought it was working fine, but after about two months I needed it and found it was completely dead. I did some testing and discovered the battery accepts charge as normal, but then power consistently ‘leaks’ at a rate of about one ‘dot’ per a little over a week. Leaving it completely dead after a little over a month of storage. This made it pretty pointless for my intended function of emergency power storage that would go several months between charges.
I was busy at the time so I didn’t contact Anker support right away, thinking as long as I contacted them within less than a year of purchase I would be well within the warranty (I was past the standard return date.) They admitted the product was defective, but would not honor the warranty claiming it was past the 18 month warranty window (even though I ordered it in July of last year and it is currently April, but I guess Anker counts months differently than the rest of us.)
Ultimately I am not saying not to get the product. I have bought other instances of this exact battery before without issue. I will say however that if you do buy it, make sure to test it exhaustively for this ‘leakage’ before the standard return window expires. Anker WILL NOT stand behind their product. Which is rather sad considering they usually make a pretty good product for the money. I don’t think I’ll be buying or recommending Anker in the future.
EDIT: Customer service got back and apologized for misreading the date of my order. They are sending me a replacement after all. Revising to three stars.
DOUBLE EDIT: New battery seems to work flawlessly, and customer service was profusely apologetic about their mistake in telling me my warranty was invalid. They even followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the new one. If not for the inconvenience I would go five stars. However lowering to four due to the initial one being defective. I think the product itself is a great battery.

Bought this in December 2020 and still going strong. I use it several times per week whether for hiking or just being out & about after work. Ideal for a multi-day camp / hike though!
It takes a while to fully charge the bank but once charged, itโll retain power until itโs drained through use. I have an iPhone 8 which it easily charges about 4x without needing to be recharged.
Itโs a little bulky & heavier than my phone so also bought a smaller Anker product which works brilliantly too although only gives around 2x charges to my phone (great for days out).
Would definitely recommend and plan on getting a second one as a back up / to keep me going for any longer hiking trips where thereโs no access to power.

This is a useful, convenient back-up battery, and it charges an iPhone faster than the Apple charger that came with it. Good to have on hand for power outages or running around town. Fits in my back pocket. Reliable and recommended.

Robuuste gebouwde powerbank met veel sap. Helaas gaf de mijne binnen een jaar de geest, laadt niet meer goed op, snel leeg. Hopelijk kan de klanten service van Anker nog iets betekenen aangezien er 18 maanden garantie op zit??

Die Powerbank ist schnell geliefert worden. Inhalt war vollstรคndig. Die Powerbank lรคd super, ist super klein, flach und leicht, somit sehr handlich und gut fรผr unterwegs. Die Tasche dazu ist etwas zu groร, das kรถnnte man noch besser anpassen. Ansonsten eine tolle Powerbank, werde noch eine kaufen.

Very good product if you are in the go. I get at least 4X charges for an iPhone 6+ and recharge time is very quick (approximately 1.5 hours). I would highly recommend this product as it is small, lightweight and performs exactly as expected when travelling and commuting. The customer service is also excellent and they really do stand behind their products

The Acker PowerCore 13000 is a very nice external battery. It fits in your hand well, even for its size. Matte texture makes it a bit slippery on hard surfaces, so like any other device just don’t drop it. It has 2 USB ports for IQ charging for fast charging compatible devices. The button on the side is used for turning on the Blue LEDs that indicate how much charge is left (4LEDs with incrimates of 25%). Button also can be used for simply turning on the external battery for when it doesn’t detect a device on its own (it detects most devices that pluggin for a charge on its own). VERY LONG BATTERY LIFE. This battery can charge many devices before needing to be recharged (don’t ask me about how long because I’m not sitting around with a stop watch). A nice feature to this battery is when your device is finished charging; it will shut itself off to prevent overcharging your device.
The Acker PowerCore 13000 does what it’s says, but it is the slowest charge I have bought. Not sure if mine is defective, but I left it to charge for nearly 8 hours and it went from 2LEDs to 3LEDs. I’ve tried it with its original cable and others. It may be a bit picky or it doesn’t like me. As punishment I have glued googly eyes. Makes me happy.
The IQ charge doesn’t work for my Galaxy S6. I actually lose battery if I’m on my phone (even if its something as simple as answering a few text with nothing else open). Using the cable it came with doesn’t help either. I’ve tried other cables as well with no improvement. Side note; it charges other devices well. If you don’t have a fast charge adaptive device, then don’t worry because it will charge just fine. (Again, mine may be defective. I just slap it and watch the googly eyes rattle).
It can charge both of my PS4 controllers at the same time. Useful for any device if you don’t want to be withing 3feet of a power outlet. It charges nearly everything that requires a USB port charge.
I guess the biggest let down for this battery is the IQ charge and that the LEDs stay on during charge and when charging other devices (quick fix has been black electrical tape). It can charge everything else just fine, but I bought this charger just for this simple feature alone. I’ll wait until the battery drains out to 0% a couple of times to see if it needs a simple reset, but this is an excruciating process because of its long battery life. This should be good to go right out of the box. Overall a great buy. I’m keeping it because it works well with everything else and it’s good for trips.

After a few full charges to then draining the battery completely; the battery works just like how imagined in my dreams! It doesn’t take more than a couple of hours to fully charge (completely understandable because of the amount of charge given) Fast charge is a bit questionable, but it charges much faster than before. I’m not struggling with losing more power than I’m gaining. Very nice battery pack. I’m so happy I stuck with it.

I bought this charger in 2016 to play pokemon go with some friends. It has lasted 8 years and is still functional, but i’ve purchased another as the charging speed to fill up has slowed, which, after 8 years is more than understandable. It’s compact, it fits in my bag, it charges newer phones about 3 times or so, the only qualm I have with the new one is that it didn’t come with the nice little carry bag the original one did. I hope this new one also lasts most of a decade.
