My kid used this book for practice. We went through almost the entire book. My kid scored a 5 on the exam. We feel like this book helped a lot for practice.

This book is the only one approved by schools around here to prepare for the official AP French exam, so for me it was the only option to teach my students. The book in itself is not too bad (although I find the choice of some audio / questions/ texts questionable). However, I wish there was an option to buy CDs for the oral exercises. Unfortunately, you have to go to their website, which is incredibly confusing to navigate, especially if you don’t do all the exercises in order of the book. It’s very counter intuitive; You just can’t find the text you need because it’s so poorly designed. Just a long list of audio without titles to identify them.
Also, you have to buy a new book every 2 years, since the audio will no longer be accessible online after some time.

My daughter learned French for more then 4 years. This Book is very helpful for her AP test. Lots of tips and detail information about AP test. The only problem is this one almost no different than the prior edition which I already borrowed from my friend.

Really!!!! Exactly the same book than the previous edition 20/21. Nothing new and nothing edited or up to date. Still the same old articles and recordings.
If you don’t have the book yet, it is a very good practice book and you should definitely buy it but if you want to have new texts, you will have to find a different brand.
