Upgraded from the (notoriously buggy + broken) 2019 macbook pro. Sorely needed an upgrade, and this computer is astonishing. Incredibly powerful, fast, and impressive. Is just as capable for work as it is for gaming, art, and other creative ventures. 10/10

Recibimos la maquina el sabado y desde el mismo momento dio problemas de instalacion. Luego de superarlos se comenzo a usar y estaba bien. Ya el lunes la pantalla se puso negra y no pudimos encenderla nuevamente a pesar de llamar al servicio tecnico de Apple quien trató de ayudar por horas sin resultados. Estamos un poco decepcionados porque es mucho dinero. Hasta ahora Amazon reacciono adecuadamente y nos dieron etiqueta de devolucion (mañana miercoles viene UPS a buscarla). Esperamos no tener inconvenientes

 This is my first MacBook Pro and it is stunning!
The speakers on this thing are INSANE! I know Apple products get a bad wrap for being over priced but, the quality is exceptional. If Amzon is still selling for 20% off (or more if you’re lucky) DO NOT WAIT!
One thing I noticed is that it is way too heavy for me to handle one handed. Coming from the air I tried to use the same muscle memory and clumsily banged it on my desk. Be careful and use two hands to handle.

I didn’t want to go to the store and buying my Mac through Amazon was the best decision ever, fasta and of course brand new! It works so well, fast and is lighter that the older versions, so is very easy to take it everywhere, the battery life last up to 2 days working straight nonstop (I am a graphic designer), the price is very reasonable and easy to use.

The computer is exceptionally well made. Hinges are tight and feel solid. Screen is very bright and clear. Appreciate that they finally put a USB on each side of the computer – was cramped for space before. The whole thing just “feels” good in your hands. The battery charges in minutes and lasts almost a week!
Having said that, the OS that it comes with, Sonoma, is a real pain to work with. The older OS, Mojave, was MUCH easier to use and MUCH more straight forward. Even simple drag and drop on Sonoma is convoluted.
The #1 complaint? Still no touch screen. When Windows and non-computer users try to use the MacBook, they are always touching the screen like its a phone. You would think that the people that first came out with the touchscreen would have a clue.

Although the use case for my needs isn’t allot,I am still super impressed with the performance of this laptop. Coming from an Intel mbp with butterfly keyboard, Intel chip, this machine blows it out of the water. It’s extremely quick, and smooth. Keyboard feedback is great. Plenty of RAM although it’s overkill for my needs. For stem major student that opens up Microsoft suite of programs and plenty of tabs of your browser(chrome/safari), I recommend saving some money and getting 18 gb of RAM for cheaper. Unless you are video/photo editing, I didn’t see the need for the extra RAM. Plenty of people preach about getting more RAM but I believe that from experience I would have been fine with 18gb as well.
The screen is huge and makes laptop heavier and less portable. Something to consider if portability is a requirement. Luckily I study mainly at home and don’t bring laptop to class that often. Yes it’s bulky and heavy. Speakers are impressive though and makes movie watching a great experience.

This version is not the M3 Max version that I originally was going to purchase, but the M3 Pro with 32GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. I thought it might be too heavy as I have the 15″ MacBook Air as well, but it is slightly heavier than my 15″ Dell XPS laptop which this is replacing. Great screen, Mini LCD, which is close to the OLED on my Dell XPS 15.
