I bought the IPhone 13 mini (starlight)and I love it.Upgraded from the 12 mini and the only thing I didn’t like was the battery life on the 12 mini was not that great.love the color ,the design of the phone and camera. It fits perfectly in my hand and doesn’t feel like I’m carrying a brick.

Coming from a 1st gen SE, the improvements are very visible. It handles everything I throw at it. Never realized how dated the SE was until I got the 13 mini. However, I wouldn’t say it is overwhelmingly impressive.
Originally I wanted a 12 Pro or 13 Pro due to the higher RAM in those at 6GB. Had to settle for this mini because of inventory shortage. Used 12s exist but I won’t get something refurbished outside of Apple.
The form factor of the mini is perfect for me but having 4GB RAM in this mini is disappointing. Longevity concerns are there. Apple is good with RAM use but eventually it will be a thing. I’ve seen it happen in the past with iPads, iPods, and that SE. RAM matters if you don’t want to buy again for a long time.
Battery drain is not terrible but it is there. Definitely felt my SE was better with drain. Can’t imagine how bad the 12 mini was if this is improved from that. Regular 13 must be better here.
The lack of a charger is noticeable. Using old chargers are a bit slow. Would have been nice to have an actual decent power one with this.
Also lack of headphone port is an irritant. Got an adapter but, it’s a needless expense. Don’t like Bluetooth stuff. Had some in the past give me headaches when using. Don’t trust it.
Overall I like it. Probably get a solid 5+ years out of it which is the primary reason to go Apple. Better support. But, just kinda feel this 13 mini is a tad underwhelming. If you need this form factor, get it. But if you can go bigger, go Pro. Sadly the Pro colors are blech compared to the 12s but, specs will be better.

1. Amazon sells the new iphones with a subscription scheme that was flagged and declined by my credit card.
2. When I first turned on the new phone, the battery level sat at 68% —something I’ve never experienced before with any of my previously owned smart phones.
3. I charged the phone to full battery on the morning of 1/4. Made about two hours of phone calls (reasons given below) and downloaded like half a dozen apps. I went to sleep on the night of 1/5, past midnight; the phone showed it had 35% of power left.
I woke up this morning, checked up the phone at around 10 and it has shut off!
Totally defective phone.
Disclosure:
Before I was even fully aware of the battery issue, I had wanted to return the phone since I had to wait for 6months after the device was activated to be able to use it during a trip abroad (I blame Apple and the deals they made with the carriers). But Amazon refused to return the funds to my credit card, telling me they could only refund gift balance even though I used my credit card to purchase the gift balance as the phone purchase was flagged as fishy and I needed it to arrive before my trip.
Regardless, this battery should deter anyone who is planning on purchasing a NEW phone that is truly worthy the 729 full tag price; AND THEY CHARGED THE PRICE OF AN UNLOCKED PHONE.
I would never buy a high-ticketed item from Amazon again.

I purchased this in 2022 and the price of the phone dropped so low that i still owe more than the current value. Service was supposed to be included it literally says in the title but it was not. So i paid $800 for a $300 phone that i still owe $400 on. Don’t fall into these traps.
I reached out to Amazon about this issue and they did nothing

The phone stalls and stutters like a dying transmission. Apple really let quality drop, makes sense with covid but for the price tag you’d expect better, honestly.

It’s so pretty but even better is it’s great quality only Apple could do. This is my 3rd iPhone and my favorite so far. I wanted the smaller size who’s is perfect for me
