This is far and away the priciest USB-C to lightning adaptor out there, but all the others have some kind of limitation, like: charging only, doesn’t work with CarPlay, doesn’t work with earbuds, etc. This one connects seamlessly to everything. High price is the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

I have the FLIR one thermal camera for iPhone that uses the lightning plug. When I got the latest iPhone I tried a few non Apple dongles but they did not work. So if you need it for something important with data connection like my camera you are best off getting this one. It is legit and actually works.

I tried this adapter on my 2012 HD Street Glide which has factory Apple 30 pin connector, which I then have 30pin to lightning adapter, which works great w/ my old Iphone 6 and 11. I now have an Iphone 15 Pro, so bought this adapter. It says “not supported” on my Iphone. I then tried it in my 2008 Acura TL Type S w/ factory 30 pin, and used same 30pin to lightning adapter to this adapter and NO MUSIC!! WTF Apple!!??!! I called them and they had no answers aside from technology differences in cables. I told them it shouldn’t matter and should work, as they’re both Apple adapters!! I have a cassette adapter (with male headphone jack) and I bought headphone (female) to USB C and my Iphone 15 Pro PLAYS MUSIC!!
I did find a bluetooth adapter from Invery which supposedly works on Harley

Bought this so I could use a single USB to USB C sync cord for both my iPhone and my spare android phone since the android sync cable got damaged.
I was wrong. This ONLY works with Apple products.
The most frustrating thing is that the $9 generic USB to USB C sync cord that I just bought works with BOTH android and apple for literally half the price. Grrrrrrrr!

Caro. Eso si. Pero funciona a diferencia de otros que probé y no. Lo barato cuesta caro. Lo utilizo en mi auto para CarPlay y lo requiero porque ocupo un puerto USB para una dashcam y el celular de mi esposa aun tiene puerto Lightning.

I am able to recognizee my Shure MV88 lightning connector mic with my M1 Apple Air tablet. Two other under $10 adaptors failed at this. So, this, in my view, super expensive, short Apple branded cable seems to have wiring other adaptors don’t. Now I don’t have to spend $200 for a MV88+ version mic with usb C built in. I’ll modify this review if I notice any problems. Update: Using this with the Shure MV88 and Apples Logic Pro music studio on an M1 Airpad, you are able to access the mic as stereo or as mono using one or the other mics on the MV88, which would seem to be a nice option if you want to be sure you are recording mono, as you might want for a voiceover. And it sounds as good as you would expect compared to using the internal ipad mic. So, this adaptor works very well in this use case.
