Lori Lovetere –
Moriarty is a master storyteller and Lee is a master narrator! This novel hit several nerves regard to the sacrifices women make as mothers and wives. Hits on the challenges of even very good marriages as well as sibling rivalry. I’ve suggested this book to many friends!!!
patti cavaliere –
Although the book had me hooked at first, the truth of Joy’s disappearance seems contrived. Book should have ended 30 pages before it did. Last few chapters wander off trying to tie up loose ends but the end result is a let down, a screwy stretch of imagination. Author has several areas where I connected emotionally with character motivation, however, she constantly interrupts momentum of story with flashbacks and thoughts.
Jacquelyn Osborne –
This book has started off pretty well. It’s too soon to give it 5 star, though I LOVE Liane Morarity
Mziecats –
Interesting start, I’m curious where it will go and how it all pulls together. Who is the girl that shows up on the doorstep?
Richard King –
Well-written
PL –
It’s short
Cliente Kindle –

Stry too focused on tennis

I seriously wanted to love this book and I really grew to enjoy the beginning and the very end of the book, but everything in between dragged a bit too long. For this book to have 71 chapters and not get to the point faster was very disappointing to me. But overall, I did come to enjoy the plotline and the twists and turns that the Delaney family underwent.
Savanna is the most conniving, manipulative liar that I have ever read in a book, but she is so clever that you have to admire her tenacity to get through life despite everything that she’s been through. Kudos to Moriarty for writing a character the audience loves to hate. Stan and Joy were the best imperfect couple I’ve read in a while too, love their ups and downs but the devotion above all is what made it seem so realistic to me. They would never hurt each other intentionally.
