It was a great motherboard until the PCIe slot died. I had my PCIe Wi-fi adapter in the slot for a while until out of nowhere my game freezes and I’m disconnected from the internet. I checked the other PCIe slot and it worked perfectly fine. I have no idea what caused this. And what makes this worse is that it was already past the return window. I WANT MY MONEY BACK >:(

This board met all my needs for a budget build. Pairs well with i3 12100, I only planned on using 2 ram sticks, has 2 nvme slots, 3 fan headers + 1 cpu fan header, had enough connections for panel usb 3, 2, audio. I wish it had 1 to 2 more usb 2โs on the back. Everything works, only thing I had to do in the bios was turn the xmp profile on. I installed Linux as my OS and all the features work right away with 6.7 kernel.
I liked that the board is small as I put it in a small case.

This motherboard did not work. I’ve since bought a replacement. I’ve had no response to my refund queries from seller, despite having full tracking details for the return. Neither have I recieved a refund.
Poor service, poor quality items. Avoid and go elsewhere.

This is a great entry level 700 series board. It does have a quite limited VRM, meaning, I wouldn’t run much more than something like a i5 14500 in it as it’s likely to throttle anything spicier than that. At this time I have a 13400F and it runs just fine, but that’s a 65W TDP chip (maxes out at about 80W). Keep in mind that base i7’s say 65W TDP as well, but can easily spike well into the 150+ range, which I’m not sure this board would be happy with for long before throttling.
If I had it to do again, I would’ve went with the PRO Asrock or the Riptide Asrock board as they are barely cheaper and both have a stronger VRM that could cope better with a hotter chip.
Having said that, otherwise, the board has been rock solid, took a BIOS update easily and does exactly what I need it to do. If you are wanting to run any K variants, or things like i7 and above, I’d look elsewhere as this will not allow you to run those at 100%, for long anyway…

So after 5 or 6 months I finally took my pc to get it check and see if I could get it fix because my pc didnโt want to display anything on my monitor, after they looked into it they told me that the motherboard was not working. What a wasted of money and now I canโt return it back.

Mit ASROCK Mainboards hatte ich in den letzten Jahren nie Probleme.
Doch mit dem Modell
B760M-HDV/M.2 D4
klappte es leider nur extrem nervig mit der Windows-Installation.
Eigentlich eine ganz simple Konfiguration mit 2 x DDR4/8 GB, ges. 16 GB, eine S-ATA SSD 240 GB und eine VGA Nvidia GT1030.
Die Windows 11 pro 22H2 Installation lief zunรคchst ganz normal durch, bis, ja bis ich begann, die Asrock Systemtreiber zu installieren (mit dem Asrock Assistenten). Bei der Intel INF Installation des Chipsatzes machte das System mittendrin einen Neustart, was ohne Ankรผndigung nicht รผblich ist.
Fazit nach etlichen Tests: Die INF Installation bricht einfach ab und bleibt mittendrin stehen. Im Gerรคtemanager sind dadurch drei Gerรคtekomponenten nicht richtig installiert.
Auf der Asrock Seite gibt es den Intel INF Treiber auch einzeln. Man muss zunรคchst die halbgare INF Installatiion zuvor wieder rรผckgรคngig machen. Doch die Neuinstallation bringt nur denselben Fehler. Es ist leider keine andere Version der Intel INF Datei erhรคltlich und der Standard INTEL INF Treiber passt hier auch nicht.
Beim dritten Versuch wurde die Windows Installation zerschossen und ich konnte ganz neu wieder beginnen.
Letztendlich lรคuft der PC auch mit den drei markierten Dateien im Gerรคtemanager, aber gut ist das nicht.
Auf eine Antwort vom Asrock Support habe ich bis heute leider vergeblich gewartet.

It setup and works just the way it is supposed to do! I did find the M.2 SSD module very difficult to get mounted with the very tiny screw provided. I have big hands and poor eyesight. Once mounted and installed, every thing worked fine!
