My brother loves these. He needed a gaming headset and these are great quality.
Everything you need.. Plug and play

I game on an xbox series x (usually COD). I bought Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2s to use as a wireless headset. They were absolutely awful with connectivity, but I thought the sound quality was great. But that changed when I got these Astros. These Astros are absolutely incredible and blow the competition out of the water. After being burned by the expensive Turtle Beaches I am hesitant to splurge on super expensive headphones for gaming at any time soon, but when I do I will 100% pay for Astros next time. I can’t believe how incredible these are for the low price point. The drawbacks are that they aren’t the comfiest, they don’t have bluetooth connectivity (to talk on the phone and game at the same time), and they don’t have noise cancelling and let in a lot of outside noise. But since they are on the cheaper end, these things don’t matter to me. Very happy with my purchase.
Amazon Customer –
I’m getting nice sound with this product, and while the MixAmp makes volume control easy and convenient, it’s really not necessary. I’ve dropped it a couple times and it doesn’t seem to have affected its performance, so it seems sturdy enough. Once in a while it doesn’t start working when I begin playing a game but unplugging and plugging back in seems to fix this. Overall a nice headset, I’m satisfied. I’ll come back and give it another star if it is still working once I’ve owned it for a year.

I was quite surprised by the sound quality. And it’s quite durable. I’m known for breaking my headsets but this one is built to last a long time.

First off it took weeks of 8+ hour gaming sessions to soften up the foam on the headband of this gaming headset. It became VERY uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of gaming and would cause slight headaches, I had to put my hoodie under it to give me extra padding to make it tolerable.
Second, the amp is useless. It only makes muting and adjusting voice/game volumes more convenient, its a high priced mixer. It is NOT an amp. I have dolby atmos (which is only 5 bucks) and that did more than the so called “amp”. After unhooking the amp because I switched to a controller that has a paddle setup which makes it impossible to plug in said amp, I literally noticed NO DIFFERENCE in sound. Not in loudness nor quality.
The headset itself is nice and seems durable for its price. Once worn-in all the way, it should be a nice headset (but keep in mind this could take months depending on how often u game). Mic quality is superb, I speak very low at times and my squad can still hear me. Do yourself a favor though and purchase the headset by itself, the “mixamp” is overpriced garbage. Save up for the higher priced amps they offer
Update: mic stopped working literally 1 day after writing this review. Going to return product. I *might* buy the a40s with the pricier amp, but kinda nervous to when the mic died on the a10s after 2 weeks of use. I never mistreat my equipment and have a dedicated small gaming area with no animals or children. If it had died after a month of buying it, id be out $80 bucks with no chance of returning it.

Great sound, and the MixAmp makes volume adjusts simple and easy. The only con I have with the headset is the ear cups are of fabric and foam construction, and get fairly warm fairly quickly, and attract dust and lint. Doesn’t make them easy to clean either. Otherwise a great headset.
Review Update: This handset’s cable for the MixAmp has started to go bad after less than a year of moderate use. I have headsets from the Xbox 360 era that still have no cable issues. For what this headset costs, there is no reason for the cable to fail this early in ownership. Additionally, the headset makes/made sharp, very uncomfortable, static popping sounds on occasion leading up to the cable failure. This is something I never experienced with any Turtle Beach product I have owned, and drops the review to 1 star. Friends would say that my voice would also say my voice would cut out and sound like static when this occurred.
Astro, I had no expectations for you and you still let me down.

Very comfortable and value for money outstanding. The Mic part feels a little on the fragile part but after a months usage iv had no issues. Sound quality is also great for any game where sound is important
Shyanne –
This is a great headset for someone who wants a good product with a lower price. A-40s are the ones i’ve had before but i love these just as much. i had a little trouble getting the mix amp to work but luckily it comes with another aux cord to plug in instead. the sound cancelling is amazing as well. the only issue i face is the muffs don’t exactly fit on my ear. i do have gauged ears so that could be why but i just fold my ear into them.

So you’re probably looking at this headset wondering, “only $60?? No way it’s any good”. Well, it is. It’s actually quite good…for the money. Are there better headset/mics out there? Absolutely. But you’re going to pay an arm and a leg for them. The sound quality of the headset is just as good as the $200 turtle beaches I owned previously. I can pinpoint where other players are simply by just listening. And because they are a wired connection they never cut out. I’ve been told by all of my friends they could instantly tell I got a new mic due to the better sound quality of the microphone itself.
The build quality of them is great too. They’re very durable and Don’t feel flimsy or weak. The padding on the ears is comfortable and I’ve played for hours without any pain or discomfort. And my head is huge(size 8 in hats lol)
The cons of this are few in my book. One thing is that you can’t hear yourself talk. Which is awesome because they’re so sound proof, but sucks because you can’t hear what you’re saying lol they aren’t the most comfortable headset. But they aren’t uncomfortable. I would recommend you pay the extra $20 for the amp which allows you to adjust both game and chat volume separately. All in all, if you’re on a budget I’d highly recommend these.

I like the comfort feel of these headphones. The sound quality is great! The mix amp addition helps with adjusting the chat and gameplay volume so I can play when everyone is asleep. I’ve had this brand in the past and recommended it.

Ho preso queste cuffie a 40 euro usate, arrivate come nuove con scatola originale. Cuffie spettacolari!
