Ce mixamp répond parfaitement à mes attentes.
La spatialisation du son en 7.1 est excellente.
Le mixamp est simple d’utilisation, les branchements sont également très simple.
Le prix est élevé mais c’est le prix de la qualité.

Je l’utilise avec deux casques. Le premier est un steelseries x300 pour Xbox one. Le deuxième est un a40 tr de astro.
Le son est très bien avec le x300 une fois le mixamp paramétré sur astro commander.
Mais si vous ne voulez pas passer de temps dans les paramètres prenez le a40.

Je précise que si comme moi vous n’aimez pas la version blanche du a 40 pour Xbox one. Vous pouvez prendre à part du mixamp la version du casque en noir celle conçu pour le pc.
Le casque pc (noir) est entièrement compatible avec le mixamp blanc pour Xbox one.

Je recommande ce mixamp pour avoir un super son 7.1 . Le combo mixamp tr + a40 est idéal pour rainbow six siège

Absolutely fantastic. Granted the A40 headset isn’t great – hence I’m using just the mixamp. But when paired with my Sennheiser G4me One, it is unbeatable!! Finally get audiophile grade sound on your Xbox and it works perfectly. Also loving the fact I don’t have any cables going into my controller anymore.

Any questions about the setup just ask. i also have tried with the Kingston Hyperx Cloud II, Sennheiser HD600, Bose AE2, Creative Auravana.

Sennheiser GAME ONE, Open Acoustic gaming headset – black is the best option to give you the highest quality of audio for your Xbox One… granted there are better soundcards for the PC, such as the Creative Sound Blaster E5…

I’m very happy I purchased this! I was using a gaming headset, over top of ear buds, plus external computer speakers in order to hear all the audio associated with my Xbox, PC, and stream alerts. I’m now able to hear the game audio, chat, alerts, and music all at once in just my headset. I no longer need the controller adapter either, which is nice, since the headset plugs directly into the mixamp. For anyone concerned about whether your headset’s mic will work, it will as long as it has a 4-pole 3.5 mm stereo jack. My Turtle Beach XO Seven headset works just fine.

The only issue I came across was a loud hum that occurred anytime a cable was connected to the Aux port on the mixamp from the speaker or headset jack on my PC. After a bit of research, I was able to determine it was due to a ground loop and some cross-cable electrical interference. I was able to significantly reduce the hum in two steps. The first thing I did was basic cable maintenance. My setup was bunched together on a desk and a fold out table sitting next to the desk. The sides of my Xbox and PC were touching and all the device cables were crossed over each other like leftover spaghetti. I ended up buying a small, relatively cheap book case that has no back. I separated my PC and each console onto their own shelves and then reran every single cable. With the devices no longer touching and much less cable crossing, the hum became barely audible background noise. To completely remove it, I added a Ground Loop Noise Isolator between the PC and the AUX port on the mixamp.

Had problems with the astro a40 headset working with the m80 mixamp. The original cord worked for about 8months for my headset. The sound in the left ear went out. Bought a new m80 cord, my sound came back perfectly but couldn’t use any chat features at all. Put the headset down for about a year, as the customer support was no help at all. Decided to give these clowns more money because I lost my senses. This mixamp works well for 15 days before a zap sound mid game and just that fast you have no more game sound. Absolute trash product. 1 astro a40 = 250.00 + 1 spare m80 mixamp = 80.00 + this mixamp “pro” = 140.00. For a total of $470.00 that could have been spent anywhere else. I’ll change the rating if their customer support will help me resolve this issue, but I’ve been that route before and won’t hold my breath.
