I recently set up the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68 AX7800 Tri-Band Business WiFi 6 System in my office, and itโ€™s been a game changer for our network. This thing is a powerhouse with its tri-band setup and WiFi 6 technology, providing super-fast speeds and reliable connectivity across our entire workspace.

Setting it up was surprisingly easy, even for someone like me whoโ€™s not super tech-savvy. The web interface is intuitive, and it walks you through everything step-by-step. I really like the management features it offers, like the ability to prioritize devices and monitor network traffic.

The coverage is impressive too. We have a large office with multiple floors, and this system blankets the entire area with strong, consistent WiFi signal. Itโ€™s been great for video calls, file transfers, and everything else we do online without any lag or dropped connections.

One thing to note is that itโ€™s designed more for business use, so it might be overkill if youโ€™re just looking for something for home. Also, the price reflects its performance and features, so itโ€™s an investment.

Overall, if youโ€™re running a business or need robust WiFi performance for a larger space, the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68 AX7800 is definitely worth considering. Itโ€™s reliable, fast, and has made our office WiFi headaches a thing of the past.

This dual wifi setup is a must have for any small business owners out there. The amount of customizable option is truly endless. You can have up to 5 SSID broadcast at the same time, perfect for any cafe business to let customer use the internet. You can also control the traffic speed and access through ASUS network interface, it’s easy to navigate and understand, the user interface is very user friendly, with easy to navigate menus. I also enjoy that you can setup VPN directly in the router interface, no need to install it manually on every computer / tablet. The dual router is also perfect for mesh networking, no need to worry about not enough coverage at your business.

EBM68 Primary SSID works fine but SDN with VLAN worked for a few minutes then stopped. Logs show deauthorization and disassociation. Look up Asus and “Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left)”. Many for years and still occurring.

Family needs Wi-Fi so went back to my Orbi 750 which I love. Great range and it just works. Just wish it had VLAN options.

Asus range is not as good as the Orbi mesh either. Time to send back.

UPDATE: Possible HW failure (DOA). The 5 GHz radio had issues and showed up intermittently on a WiFi scanning app. Then it was gone completely and did not come back, even after reboot. Not sure if Asus does this due to WiFi interference but if they do I am not a fan. Either way, sending back. Orbi just works, even with neighborhood interference! Just wish Orbi Pro would come out with new line so I an use SSID based VLANs.

    Proโ€™s:
    ~Very fast
    ~Two notes and expandable
    ~Great customizations for guest networks
    ~Excellent VPN options
    ~Tri-Band for better node connection

    Conโ€™s:
~Not as easy to setup as personal home networks
    ~Only comes with 2 nodes

I run a small business out of my house and I have been using an older wifi personal router system. I wanted to upgrade to a new WiFi 6 system but figured I would try the ASUS Tai-Band business system. Out of the box, this ASUS system took me a couple hours to go through the setup and review all of the options. There are a LOT of options and features, way too many to go over in this review.

First off, this system is fast! I have gigabit internet at my house and it truly is as fast as my internet provides. I setup a VPN through the system and configured some remote options so that I can safely access my home server outside the network. I run a very small personal business from my house and right now I am the only one using it so setting up a guest network is not necessary, but there are a lot of great options for that as well.

Ultimately this system is much more than I really needed but I love all of the options in case I expand my business. The unit can add up to 12 nodes which is huge coverage so this unit would be excellent for larger businesses. There are great security options provided by ASUS that they call AiProtection Pro which provides great full network firewall and virus protection built in so there really isnโ€™t much of a need for extra virus protection on your individual machines. That being said, more security is often better. The price of this system at the time of writing this review is just under $600. This is a pretty good value as most other WiFi 6 home mesh systems usually cost almost double that but for that price, they usually come with 3 nodes. This is a great WiFi system for small business users if you are looking for a mesh solution with plenty of options.
