SAVE THE BOX – it has the serial number.
I use this as a gaming headset. The sound quality (if you use the ASUS stabalization software) is great, it’s very comfortable and I’m generally very happy with the quality.
One problem which is why I took away 2 stars – the external Boom microphone stopped working after 6 months – a loose connection. You have to keep holding it and toggling it for it to work. And using just the internal microphone has a slight buzz/tinny sound that audiophiles can detect and is annoying for hours of use. If ASUS just had a part number of this boom microphone that you could find/order (ironically it is detachable) – this would have been a 5 star review.
There are some tiny numbers printed on the headset near the left earphone – none of which are the serial number. The serial number is *only* on the box – so save that number or better yet, register it. ASUS will not cover the warranty if you do not have this serial number – I realize this is my fault for not registering or saving the serial number – but we buy so many ASUS products and what I was annoyed by was: Their website doesn’t mention any serial numbers for headsets of where to find them. Their support website doesn’t have any parts for the headset – though similar competitors headsets with detachable boom microphones do. Their customer service doesn’t know where to find serial numbers for their headset (they kept saying produce the box with numbers on it) – I sent them the receipt of the date of purchase and a photo of the numbers on the headset – but that was not enough. They also do not know of any parts for it that can be ordered.
So a word of caution if you buy these – SAVE THE BOX (serial number)

The sound quality is very good, and they look great. I have not used them for gaming just for music and I’m happy with them. The connectivity is great by your PC or phone but go take a wee or hit the fridge expect some cutout. The ear cups run small, so if ya have big ears, not recommended.

This mic has great sound quality, incredible directional sound, and a very clear microphone. There are really only two problems I have with it which are both minor. First being the boom mic does not like to stay in, and after about an hour of gaming it tends to always fall. Second being the battery life is a bit shorter than advertised, maybe around 12-16 hours. Besides those two things, I really enjoy it.

Los audÃfonos vinieron bien con todo lo que dice, los disfrute mucho aunque su audio en modo Bluetooth es muy bajo, pero ahora a 11 meses de tenerlos puedo decir que no valen la pena, son audÃfonos muy caros para la calidad que entregan, debo decir que esos audÃfonos no son los que uso en mi jornada diaria, los uso solo para mi computadora, y los cuido con mi alma, jamás se me cayeron, y aun asà se rompieron. Yo me confié y los compré por que son de la marca Asus Rog strix. No los recomiendo

the quality of this headphone is equally as the 5-star airline’s headset received during my past on-board long-route flights of Airbus A340 and Boeing 777 to UK, however since most free on-board headset is not allowed to be taken out from cabin, thus I will consider this as one of the comfortable lightweight headsets, handy, great sound on gaming with descent mic as my friends can hear me singing nicely, and such a reminiscence to my past travelling journey experiences.

Wireless connectivity is very good that it doesn’t lose the connection even if I am far away from my laptop and there are a few obstructions like walls and windows. Noise cancellation also works, but I can still hear the bark of my dog when I did a Loom video. Overall, I love the design and color of the headset and all the accessories included in the box. The sound quality is excellent for me. The package arrived earlier than I was expecting and it is well-packed. Another quality product from ASUS! I hope it lasts long.

The constant beeping from connecting and reconning, random disconnects ruins any kind immersion into your gaming experience. It gets so bad I have to shut my game down and go to desk top to see what is going on. I find the headset connected and 50% charged but finally when game is closed down it stops beeping. No rhyme or reason as to why it was constantly beeping. AND if that isn’t annoying enough, while video chatting it will randomly just shut off. So your talking along and your chatting partners like “your headset just turned off” can you repeat the last 5 minutes. I paid over $200 for this wireless headset, that drives me batty with constant beeping. I can go one room from pc, more than that and it starts beeping like a bomb ready to go off.
