Bonito, todo me parece bonito

I have used this company product and the quality is good.
I had requested a return as I no longer needed it. However I have changed my mind but have no way of informing the seller of this, therefore am writing this review, hoping they will receive my message and charge the price for it.

I don’t know what it is about me and USB, but I never seem to have enough ports. I bought this to replace a round hub I used to have which had a casing that fell apart within a few months (but I stubbornly kept on using it anyway). Eventually, the ports themselves started to fail, so I finally caved and looked for a new one. Let me tell you, having a strip of ports is so much better than a round hub. Instead of having cords sticking every direction, it fits behind my monitor nice, slim, and covert but is still easy to access. I also never thought having the “on/off” switches would be so handy as well. My old hub didn’t have that, but it’s really useful for some USB lights I have that don’t have an “on/off” switch themselves. Beats having to plug and unplug them every use. I also tend to turn off the power to my webcam when I’m not using it for peace of mind (yes, I’m paranoid). The speed so far also seems to be pretty great for most things–though, my portable backup drive copied way too slow for me through this hub, so I transferred it to my direct ports instead. Otherwise, a great buy for the price. I’m actually considering getting another one because… (see title).

Very compact & real value for money

This usb hub is compact and very nice. I like the fact that the cord is attached on the shorter side because it allows me to place it right next to my laptop where my desk is very crowded. I’ve seen those that have cord coming out on the longer side, and I assume it takes up more space than it’s actual size. Anyhow, it’s been working great for the past 5months, and I like the idea of on/off feature on each port because I don’t have to pull it out completely just to turn it off where I’m going to use it very soon again anyways. I believe pulling it out does some wear on the hardware of the usb. It’s small enough and lightweight. Also, the ports are parallel to each other and not lined up in a series and I think it’s definitely a plus in a practical way because if the usbs were wider in its body size, they would be competing for space (even though there are more than one port you’d have to skip one or something) if the ports were lined up. That’s not a concern with this hub. Lastly, the charging port is fancy and I can just connect it for charging without worrying about it being actually connected to my computer. So far, it’s been great in doing what it’s supposed to do and I’m satisfied with it. I have not found a major fault in it so far. Would recommend to my friends and family.

Only product I could find that actually worked to transfer my photos straight from my iPhone to my hard drive! If that’s what you need then this is great!

It works pretty well; haven’t put any serious demand on it so far, with multiple devices. It took a few few tries to get the individual ports to power off, you have to hold the power button longer than you think. Naturally, turning it back on, it comes on instantly. I guess that’s not too unreasonable, since I’ve experienced issues with power buttons that were too sensitive and would turn off if you brushed passed them; so it’s not a bad idea to make it so, if you’re going to turn these ports off, it has to be intentional.
It’s not great for phone charging. I imagine it might be better if it came with a power supply and the hub itself was plugged in. I’m not sure why it doesn’t come with one, since it does have a DC adapter port. But it is connected to a USB 3 port, which I had hoped would have made some difference for charging speed.
The charging ability is a little disappointing, especially since it even has a designated charging port on the end, that port still doesn’t put out much juice to charge a phone very well.

It’s nice to give a review for product that actually turns out to be exactly as it promises. This Atolla USB hub is exactly what I was looking for. I have several devices, including a microphone headset and several external backup drives. Once the headset is plugged in it overrides the computer speakers. Many times when I forget to unplug it I end up fiddling with the speakers, until sanity takes its course and I realize what the problem is. You’d think I would learn after several times, but well we’re only human. As for the external drives, if I soft-boot or reboot my computer, the computer will read the external drives as if they are the internal drive and not re-boot. Therefore you have to remember to disconnect the two external drives every time you want to reboot. That was a pain as well. And I actually did need some additional USB ports for other uses, having used up the ports on the computer. So I was delighted to see that not only does this have four ports and is designed to sit nicely on your desk next to your computer, but that each port has a switch next to it, so that you can turn it off and on even when it is still connected. Cooler still, when pressed, a blue LED lights up. This way of course I can keep all of these devices plugged in and simply hit the switch. It works perfectly, and is beautifully constructed and looks great. By the way, it also has another port on the side, specifically for charging. It’s a nice addition, though the other ports will charge devices as well. I’m not a big tech nerd, but I believe the difference is that the charge port may have a power limiter or fuse. Something honestly that is truly not a problem, unless you’re using the port to charge a power tool or a Toyota Echo! Nice to get something, as I said that meets if not exceeds expectations.

this hub works exactly as expected, no issues at all, and also get illuminated by nice blue light
you can’t go wrong with this one, the only sad bit, of course, is they did not supply the power adapter, it works but it would have been a nice gesture.

I bought two years ago, and they are still kicking. Recently started using them in other rooms other than my office, and they are just great. And they arent kidding about the Fast Charge port at the top. Really does work and charges your phone in lightning speed compared to just a traditional port.
