Autel MaxiCheck PRO AutoBleed Scan Tool

HASSLE-FREE, HASSLE-FREE, Did I mention HASSLE-FREE!!! Great tool for doing easy and safe ABS Bleeding. Only need to REMOVE WHEELS ONCE. Perform regular bleeding followed by Autel MaxiCheck ABS bleeding, re-install wheels and you are done. However, without Autel MaxiCheck, you must do first regular bleeding, re-install wheels, drive to a location where you can safely engage your vehicle’s ABS by slamming on your brakes on ice, gravel, sand etc. You must then return to your garage/driveway, remove your wheels again and do a second regular bleeding. The Autel MaxiCheck Pro OBD2 makes ABS bleeding so much easier!

Bought the MaxiCheck Pro because I needed to clear a C2202 code after replacing the ABS control module on my 2011 Dodge Avenger which caused my speedometer to stop working. This scanner worked perfectly by reprogramming the module with the ABS Initialization. It got rid of the ABS, traction control, BRAKE, and check engine dash lights after initializing the ABS module. My speedometer also starting functioning like normal again. The dealer was going to charge $160 to initialize the ABS module, but I figured I could spend a little more to do it myself and have a high end scanner for a decent price. I do not regret my decision to purchase the MaxiCheck Pro because I plan on getting a lot more use out of this amazing scanner.

I came across this product almost by accident while searching YouTube for some how to videos to help with a brake repair. When we compared the cost of the scanner to the cost of having our car towed to a garage to have the ABS system bled it was well worth what we paid as we saved money. My husband does all of our brake repairs and wished he had known about the Maxipro a long time ago. The shipping was fast and it actually arrived a day early. In no time at all we had the unit hooked up, the ABS system bled and after manually bleeding the rear brakes we were back in business. I truly think the makers of this product need to advertise this product more. My husband has already told at least three people they need to buy this device. Thank you Autel for a great product.

Have successfully done abs auto bleed.
Success on reading check engine light and detect o2 sensors spikes to resolve engine vacuum leak.
Confirms very well or very close to issues such as Evap issues, DTC codes, clears codes well. Also does good job on live monitor while driving. I was also able to save former read data. Recommended for personal purchase.

This would not connect to two of my computers. Likely a USB driver issue but I wasn’t going to waste time on it after connecting it to a USB 2 and a USB 3 port. I was able to load upgraded software to the sdcard by plugging it into my computer but I could not update the device itself.
The device connects to my car and reads codes. However the vehicle information screen never loads it errors out. If it cannot display the vehicle information how can I rely on the data being presented. Also does not allow you to manually enter your vehicle for diagnostic.
When switching to ABS or SRS it asks for data like year, model, and make. My 15 year old device does everything this does except ABS and SRS and it retains the model entered until you switch to another vehicle.
The build quality is cheap plastic. I opened the case and was excited to try it out. As soon as I picked it up I began to lose interest.
My brother was sitting next to me telling me what the manual said and I kept telling him it didn’t work. Then I let him try it for himself. He tried to convince me to bleed my antilock brakes before returning it there’s no way I would trust it. I’m returning it because its not worth it plain and simple.
