Assembly was not complicated. The BILT app was very helpful. A cordless drill is crucial. I decided to stain the wood parts with deck stain and sealer prior to assembly, which was very time consuming but worthwhile. Overall it took me probably 8 total hours aside from the staining. It was helpful to look forward several steps in the instructions to get all the pieces and hardware together bit by bit. I had no issue with split boards or misaligned holes that others noted. Quick tip: When putting in the T-nuts, pound them in with a hammer. It will help with getting the bolt threaded.
It feels very sturdy with the exception of the legs for the swing set. I’ll probably add a stabilizing piece and set the anchors in concrete.
The kids love it and have been playing on it nonstop since I put it together. Doesn’t take up too much space on the yard. Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase!

I shopped long and hard to decide on a swingset. For the money, this one is great. Good features, high quality. Assembly does take a long time and requires decent tools but my husband is handy and was able to do it all himself.

Sturdy for small kids. Although I am 250 lbs and stood on the platform to put up the top boards for the canopy cover (green tarp not on yet). Took my son, my wife, her sister and I about 8 hours to build. Comes in 2 flat boxes, you have to build EVERYTHING. Directions were easy enough. About 2 or 3 pieces of wood needed to be slightly modified but it was all there, no missing parts. I can definitely tell you that a battery powered driver and drill are a MUST. They do send some tool attachments for drill, in the size you need. I didnt see them until half way thru the build. You need T-30 bit and a socket set. Thats about it. Wood is a little soft so dont over drive your hardware. Over all great value.

Honestly never had a company this great to work with. We laid out a huge tarp and organized all the boards. One board had a big split so we called the company and a new board arrived in less than 24 hours!! Following assembly was easy. Took 2 of us just under 8 hours not including a break for lunch (and me honestly not doing a lot). This is also with toddler “helping”. While he picked one kid up from school I organized hardware pieces by steps I put it in little plastic cups and numbered them. After that we breezed thru the remainder. Looks great, feel solid, and kids love it. Our yard was not super level but we figured out where we needed to level exactly while building it and did it as we went. Only real problem is now the three year old refuses to go inside for a nap!! I do plan to seal the wood at some point but right now it’s beautiful.

Out of all the play sets we looked at this was the best priced and overall good quality if you are looking for something on the smaller side. We have small/young children who play on this play set so it is perfect for them. My husband and I were able to get the entire thing put together in about two days. Was pretty easy yet putting the slide together was the least fun and pretty tedious.

This is a great kit. There was one image backwards on the instructions and one board was mislabeled on the instructions for placement. The hardest part about this kit was separating all the parts and arranging them in a useable order. The construction seems odd at times as you will “jump” around building pieces unlike most construction from the ground up. Just be patient and look at the instructions and ensure images are correct. Took about 8 hours to put together just because it’s such a large puzzle and sometimes you switch bolt and screw packets. Make sure your ground is level and square as possible before putting together. We laid a tarp out to get an idea of where we wanted ours in our yard and how we wanted it oriented. They also have where you can use an image of the swing set and place it where you want in the camera/photo of the area. We also used some landscape timbers and rubber mulch for the inside areas of the set and it took over 50bags! A few tools are needed and another person is needed when ready to start to put it all together but only briefly. No missing parts or hardware and minimal tools required. They even provided most of the tools and bits for screws as well as a gauge for board separation. We added the toddler and baby swing as the kit only comes with normal swings.

All the pieces and the instructions are VERY intimidating! It also says it takes a team of 2 about 8 hours – my husband and I knocked it out in about 5. I organized the pieces and hardware and handed him things as needed. I’ll make a short pro/con list from my point of view. But overall I think it was a smart purchase and will be used for years to come!

It took a while to ship, that was really the biggest downside. But once it arrived in our state, CEVA logistics scheduled the appointment quickly. It had all the parts! We hired someone from Thumbtack to assemble it and it was totally worth the money. He got it done in about 5 hours.
The playset is a perfect size – not too huge, but also big enough that our toddler will be able to use it for years. And so much to do, too! The only thing we really don’t use is the rope ladder, because it is kind of tricky to climb and really wobbly. But this is probably more fun for older kids that need a bit of a challenge. We plan to turn the covered area under the main platform into a sandbox. I was also surprised at how well our 2 1/2 year old could climb the rock wall!
As far as sturdiness, we’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I wondered how well the tarp on top would hold up. But we’ve had snow since this was assembled, and it’s all looking perfect still.
Overall, really pleased with it and so are all the kids that come to play on it!
