Kate McCarthy –
this is one of the top five best retro comics ever. if you are into older comics and stuff this is, in my opinion; a very good one to have. great storyline and even cooler art work. the first story is the one you should be picking the book up but the extra story at the end on Tim drake is also a very nice add on and makes sense for the theme of the book. also the quality of the book is good no issues with that
Toaster –
I read this long ago, well not that long I suppose but around 10 years ago. I was a Kid and although Robin was never my favorite it was a real saga for me. I read a similar deluxe edition to this, so I also got to read Lonely Place of Dying. I have far more sympathy now for Jason than I did then, and Tim’s introduction after his death does not feel forced. Overall the Art and Story are pretty great, and not withstanding the fated 3rd part of death in the family, I like Marv Wolfman better than Starlin.

Flawless and just as described. Packed perfectly and shipped fast.
Zack –
The book is the full collection of the death in the family comics from the original comic. Good coloring and easy to read.
Anna –
Growing concerned by Jason Todd’s erratic behaviour, Batman orders him to stand down as Robin. Jason then discovers that his mother was actually his stepmother and goes searching across the world for his birth mother. Eventually reunited, his happiness is short lived when he discovers that she is being blackmailed by an old foe.
Starlin’s game changing storyline infamously allowed readers to decide Robin’s fate and ‘A Death in the Family’ played fairly with the outcome. The artwork harks back to an earlier era, at times reminiscent of the sixties and the brash and energetic colouring belies the dark overtones of the text.
Marybeth Berlemann –
An amazing story, and amazing movie adaptation. Couldn’t have written it better my self. One for the ages! ! !

Angelo Dela Fuente –
If you’re truly a Batman fan then you should read this graphic novel. It includes Jason Todd’s demise to Batman’s grieving leading to the introduction of the third robin; Tim Drake. If you intend to read “Under the Red Hood”, then I suggest you read this first.
James R Oliver –
Great read! Classic Batman and Robin! Highly Recommend. I need just ten more words for this post to be submitted
Brian Zucca –
Great story, book built well, worth the money
Buffalo Bill –
This is a very underrated storyline and is actually a lot more bang for your buck. Not only does this include the original Death in the family storyline, it also has the Lonely Place of Dying storyline which introduces Tim Drake. I actually enjoy the paper quality of this book, which many complain about. Gives the book a classic quality and very nostalgic to the old comics which used this paper. Art is amazing, especially the splash page where Batman is carrying the lifeless body of Robin. Very sad story, while I would have liked it if the author explored the aftermath of how it effected Batman. Bruce Wayne is kinda cold when his partner dies. He doesn’t shed a single tear in the whole book! Tim drake, a dude who hasn’t even met Jason Todd cries more than the dudes adoptive father. WTF But other than that great book for great price
