Was definitely worth every penny. Such an amazing story, so original. It put a new perspective on the relationship between Batman and the Joker. If you haven’t read it, you should for sure. I couldn’t put it don’t.
Rojiace –
What a great twist to the entire way the Joker story can be told. So much is about making Characters “real”. This is a cool way to mutate and Use the Real.
Sunrise Kid –
Fun comic to read, dark so not good for kids. Gets into the idea of multiple Jokers and who could have possibly been the first Joker…. but it’s all up for you to find out.
Carlosccgg –
Buena historia. Bastante divertida y con giros interesantes. La calidad de los dibujantes es increÃble. Lo suficientemente madura y violenta.
Lo leà en la app de Kindle. Un lujo la forma de leer cómics.

This was a mind blowing read! A real psychological roller coaster with an amazing storyline.
The ending could have been better but overall a must have/read for die hard Batman fans.
John Weller –
Great read. Lots of emotions as is normal with red hood and barb. Batman being batman. A nice story when you have time for a short read.

This is my first comic purchase in Absolute format; I have online DC comic subscription and started reading this story on my tablet; first few pages in I thought, maybe I should try getting a physical copy – the story seemed interesting enough; and now that I have finished reading it, the first thing I am doing is posting this review; apologies for all this rambling but I just want to say that Absolute Format is the best way to experience a comic back; you can stream a movie on your cellphone or you can watch it on a widescreen theater; for those who have already have absolute editions, you know what you are getting…stunning artwork in oversized pages and bonus content; its makes reading the comic book a memorable experience and what’s life if not a collection of experiences.
The story is kind of one and done; it helps if you have read the Killing joke and maybe Death in the Family but I have read the former and not the latter and it is still an enjoyable read for someone starting out reading DC comics; the artwork is simply amazing and I love how Batman is portrayed; the take on his physical scars and emotional tragedy at the start of this book is something which batman fans are gonna remember long after reading; this book is a keeper and plan to revisit it; doing my research on collectibles it seems that once these books go out of print they are available for a much higher price on secondary market so would recommend Batman fans and also Joker fans (coz this is an equally good joker story) out there to get a copy with the great current discount on the cover price; I have ordered a few more DC absolutes and would be reviewing them soon. Thanks for your time in reading this review

I think THREE JOKERS is one of the best Batman stories in many years. The drama between the characters and the insights into them was wonderful. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

-Im very picky when it comes to buying graphic novels because most times you will have great artwork but a sub par story or perhaps the other way around. Three Jokers is an interesting tale that tips a toe in the water of other great stories such as Death in the Family and The Killing Joke. It does this with a light touch and does not ruin those stories but offers a solid continuation. The artwork is beautiful and every panel is perfectly done. The story is a bit of a detective tale that sinks into the history of the Bat Family ultimately focusing on the different paths each member has taken to deal with past events. The ending is satisfying because it is not so much a happy one but one that leaves you wanting more. The Joker (or Jokers) are major players but it’s not overdone so that the mystery can exist. My favorite variation of the three was “The Criminal” which was an older and way more serious Joker somewhere in the range of the Nicholson film version. Honestly I didn’t have high expectations for this story but it was my favorite read of 2023. It just left me wanting more of the Three Jokers and the solemn note at the end just rang true with what I love about the darkness of the Batman mythology. This one is a keeper and I will certainly reread it again and again.

A really great story for the Bat-family. If more time was taken then we could delve into Barbara and Jason’s trauma, that was caused by the Joker a lot more. Although the ending may be a hit or miss with some fans, as we keep coming back to the idea presented in the Killing Joke, of what is the Joker’s backstory. I find it works here with each claiming to represent one of those choices. I would have loved if they started by using the issue where Batman learns their are three Jokers, instead of hopping right into the action. I do appreciate that the artist did a great job with showing the gruesomeness of each Joker, and the writing keeps you coming back to find out the truth. And it’s fun to see it connecting the storylines from Killing Joke and A Death in The Family, which both are spectacular in their own ways.

Each version of the Joker has been seen in all the media types. The fact that the Batman was able to know who it was within a week and never hint at it, in all the years. I loved this book and how it covers the stories of Barbara Gordon and Jason Todd. Great work and great artwork.
