This is a great tool to speed up workflow and dial in mixes. I’m using with Cubase 11 on Windows 10. While it’s disappointing the track select doesn’t work unless you’re in the current bank, it’s really quite easy to use the bank up/down buttons on the unit to scroll into the correct bank. Once you reach the correct bank for the channel you have highlighted in your DAW, the fader slides into position automatically on the unit. Thus, you can very quickly and intuitively jump around tracks in your DAW and then control the fader without having to count etc. (just hit the bank scroll buttons until the fader activates). It works when Q-link is enabled, so you can adjust several tracks at once using the fader when needed. All in all a very useful tool for me. I’m reaching for this a lot more often than I’m reaching for the mouse to adjust faders/panning (I’d say 90% this / 10% mouse). Also utilizing the transport buttons, which are very helpful when you’re not in your DAW (for example viewing a web page) and you want to start/stop the music. What I’ve noticed is it really helps me recognize big mistakes in fader levels while also helping fine tune faders that are more or less balanced. I highly recommend adding this or a similar unit to your workstation to enjoy the benefits a DAW controller can offer. Would have given this unit 5/5 stars if it auto-selected tracks without needing to hit bank scroll buttons. Behringer should hire a developer to create custom drivers for each DAW.

Nice finished look as well as nicely intigrated with Midi protocol. The touch and motor is working great. The transport keys and jog is good. Lightning buttons are adding more look and shine to the unit. Loved that glazing ring led light of jog wheel.

I run LUNA as my DAW. The device works great, had latest update on it. It works great at what the DAW developer has incorporated it into their DAW. Meaning, this controller does more inside Logic than in Luna, for now. I liked the X Touch One enough to convince me to get the X Touch with 9 Faders., You daisy chain the X Touch devices and designate X Touch One to only control Main Out. But you can also assign it to be the Focus Channel Device, meaning it stays in one place while the X Touch can control other things.
The X Touch, will allow Plugin Control inside Logic, which is the bomb. Once you get used to it, using it. Workflow will be quicker, more intuitive, able to turn two knobs at a time, or moving several sliders at once, like a real board for functionality, but in the Box convenience.

To begin, I started off with another brands DAW controller that over time I discovered it left me reaching for my mouse more than I did for it. So much so that it got to the point that it sat unpowered, cluttering up my desktop and collecting dust…
Enter, Behringer’s X-Touce One! The Initial set up and firmware update of the X-Touch One took less than 10 minutes, and after a short time of familiarizing my self with button operation/ location, and view toggling (I use Ableton Live), it wasn’t long after that I noticed I was rarely reaching for and using the mouse. Everything from track, scene, and view selection to transport operation is right there at my fingertips. The counter display, selected track and pan position display, and the jogger wheel is handy in more ways than one. Also, it should go without saying, but watching the fader dance to automation is cool, too!
I recommend the X-Touch for the following: Ease of setup, button layout and usability. It’s a great companion to Ableton. The build quality is solid, and if you are in a small home studio space like me, it’s size lends to a mobility feature that makes it great when needing to position it near your drum kit, etc.

I’ve been waiting to buy me one of these for a few years now! Having finally gotten one, I can’t say I’m disappointed at all. It makes working in Nuendo much more fun and intuitive. Setup was fairly easy. Plug and play. Configuring nuendo was a bit tricky….because I’m using an outdated version of Nuendo and didn’t know where to find the Mackie Control settings. Took about 15 minutes to figure that out. Other than that though? I love it. It took 5 minutes to figure out how to configure the customizable function buttons using the same mackie control settings pages in Nuendo. Once that is done? The XTouch feels like an indispensable part of my DAW setup.
Look. Feel. Ease of use. 5 stars. Love it!
EDIT: After a few weeks of owning it, the only thing I would want to consider improving is the slider knob itself. This component is made of lightweight plastic. I feel like I may stick in some tiny pieces of lead underneath this knob to give it some more body….and improve the tactile feel. But to me, this is a very minor tweak. Overall, the product feels sturdy in all other respects.

I have a full studio with digital mixers and multi track control surfaces, but I wanted something for a smaller setup.
I have been in pro audio for many years and Behringer has never been on my list as ‘go to’ gear. Their reputation used to be that they produced cheaper knock offs of major brands. I was therefore hesitant to go with this product. I was also considering the Presonus Faderport.
I decided to take a chance with the X Touch One and so far so good. I have successfully used it with Pro Tools and Cakewalk and they work fine. Each DAW requires its own one time setup to function with the unit, which is true for any universal control surface
I have the unit connected to a USB 3.0 hub and I have experienced no delay in its responsiveness.
Build quality is good and I like the large jog/shuttle knob. I know it seems silly but I like grabbing the large knob with my hand rather than the small knob on the Faderport which I need to control with my fingers.
I don’t use automation in my work, so I can’t speak to that feature,
Wish list items:
An on/off switch would be nice.
More overlays. There is no overlay for Cakewalk, How hard can it be to provide overlays for DAWs on the market? There aren’t that many and the overlays should be easy to produce.
I now view Behringer as a quality manufacturer.
Overall I think the X Touch One is a solid product that gets the job done.
Highly recommended.

It’s a good unit for the price and decent build quality too. But i had to return it since strangely it doesn’t work with AMD CPU motherboards. It seems to be a regular issue. Used it effortlessly on a Mac though
