The shipping was fast and I got every piece but you cannot play it without putting a hole in the skin. I was so scared to hit the drums that I had to pack it right back up before even filling putting it together and sell it to a young, young child. Not worth the money or time!

Assembly took me 3 hours. I am a mom of a beginner. I had to stop and look up drum terms and make sure I was working on the right drum. The directions were in broken English and often refer to labels like “part A” the parts were not labelled though so that didn’t help. The parts often looked different then the pictures. It is very possible that someone with more drum knowledge would be able to assembly it more easily. After three hours of work and pulling up You Tube videos of people assembling drums or various brands (not this brand) my son is now playing his drums. The quality looks good. There is a good chance we will be happy with them now that they are finally assembled.

Given the price point, I really can’t say anything bad at all for this drum set. It arrived well packaged, with each piece wrapped in cardboard, protective wraps or in sealed baggies. Often with value products, you open them only to find some vital part missing that you either have to reorder or try to make do without, so I was pleasantly surprised to find all items as expected, plus an extra large and small bolt included.
As others have mentioned, it is weird that after all the meticulous packaging that they decide to omit even the most rudimentary assembly instructions, but I found I could figure it out how to assemble without them in about 30 minutes of construction (no extra tools needed). Even if it gets out of hand, there are instructions various places online.
There was one problematic part where I discovered that the upper hi-hat stand connector rod had it’s inner threading sheared off before I ever tried to attach it, much as if someone had previously used and tried to force the part, but it didn’t seem otherwise scratched, so I’m guessing it was a bad mold pour(?). I’ve jerry-rigged it for now until I decide to buy a replacement hi-hat stand, but of course it’s things like this that cause frustration.
Finish is clean and glossy, fit is decent as much as I expected. Chrome hardware parts were built solidly. The shells sounds really pretty consistent once tuned with decent heads (I consider heads to be somewhat akin to guitar strings – a part to replace reasonably frequently, so I didn’t care about the shipped head quality). Cymbals are weak, but usable as a starter set. Throne is pretty basic – sore rear after 30 minutes without an additional cushion! Sticks are throwaway. For a full size set I was hoping for a lot, but expecting not much – that said, I really think the manufacturer should be proud of their workmanship.
A five thousand dollar rig it ain’t, but for entry level fun (and then some) it really can’t be beat (pun intended)!

Bought this for my wife for her birthday because she kept mentioning wanting to learn how to play drums. She’s super happy with it because it sounds great and I didn’t have to spend a ton of money. It surprisingly great quality for the price and comes with great instructions, hardware and tuning key. They look sick, and seem pretty tough. Sound great too.

These drums came within three days of my order via Fed-Ex. They arrive in boxes and you will have to assemble them yourself. Although I have plenty of experience with drums, I would rate the assembly of these drums as moderately easy. If you have never assembled a set before you might struggle a bit, the instructions are very vague.
Because I didn’t find it on here before, it’s important to mention the dimensions of the heads (I ordered a set of heads and wound up with one of the wrong size). The snare is 14″, the toms are 10″, 12″, and 16″, The kick is 22″.
I had ordered new heads for the set preemptively and they went on during assembly. I used the provided skins for the bottoms of the toms and backside of the kick. the snare comes fully assembled, you just need to place it on it’s stand. The hardware is the worst part about the set, as mentioned in previous reviews it is a bit flimsy during assembly, but once together it’s really solid.
The cymbals are really pretty awful, but at this price you can buy a set of Sabians or even find some used ones in the classifieds. Just like any other drum set you will need to properly tune and dampen it. The kick has CRAZY resonance as is. I went ahead and cut a hole on the outside skin. With better heads all around you should get a really good sound. The throne seems sturdy enough for my 209 lbs, but isn’t the most comfortable thing to sit on.
My overall assessment of this drum set, I’m happy. You usually don’t get this much value out of a budget purchase. I would highly recommend these drums to a beginner or cheap novice, but I’m sure a professional drummer wouldn’t be thrilled. If I had a kid this would be under the Christmas tree!

I had some trouble assembling it and accidentally ruined one of the screws. This company was incredible how well they took care of me. It is a nice set and my kids love it but I really was amazed at how far above and beyond the company went to take care of a small problem. Highly recommend them.
