I’m absolutely disappointed with the quality of this filing system. The baskets are poor quality and weak as are the sliding tracks. I have to struggle to pull the baskets in and out. My daughter removed the baskets and tried to realign them to the tracs to no avail. Just frustrating. Julie Swiecicki

I’d been looking for a home file cabinet for some time now and am very pleased with this one. It was very easy to put together; maybe only took about 30 minutes or less. It holds a decent amount of files, looks nice and fits almost any decor discretely. My only complaint is that the drawer does not extend completely but I can work with it.

The cabinet was easy enough to put together. I have not filled it yet. My files are letter sized and the drawers do not pull out all the way which will make it difficult to put things in and take things out with out taking the drawer off it’s tracks. The other option is to convert to legal and in that case I’m not sure all my paperwork will fit in the cabinet. I wish the product description included that information. I would not have purchased it knowing using it using the letter direction was so inconvenient.

This is a beautiful file cabinet with the built-in rack to accommodate letter or legal size folders. The finish is furniture quality and the baskets are durable and well made. When you use it for letter size, the files will be side-facing and when you use legal files, the folders will face you when you pull the drawer out. The problem is that when you use it for letter files and they sit sideways, the basket drawers don’t come out far enough for you to actually pull a file or documents out. There is at least an inch that won’t roll out all the way and it’s literally impossible to get a letter file out without bending the file. Unfortunately, you’ll get the most file space using the letter size instead of legal. Now that it’s all assembled, I can’t return it so I’m just going to use the top drawer for legal files and the bottom one will be for cords, extra copy paper, office supplies, etc. It’s a shame that I could’ve purchased something that would have met my needs but I didn’t know about the design flaw in this particular cabinet. I hope this helps someone else to at least be informed about what you’re getting with this product.

Easy to build, top hole didn’t line up at all, so the top has 3 screws in, but its holding tight and doesn’t feel loose.
Looks nice in a beach home. The files are tight to get in and out if that’s what you need to do.

Look how impossibly cute a FILE CABINET can be!! I have ordered PLENTY of furniture online.. Ones needing assembly upon arrival is a norm for me. But ALSO, almost without fail, one or all of the following: #1 Great disappointment in the quality.
#2 Missing hardware.. Or even a ENTIRE pieces.
#3 Holes not drilled in the right spot – or NO hole at all, ugh.
This little WONDER is “Perfection” in every way! I was so surprised at the quality.. All of the wood pieces are SOLID & feel strong. There are metal supports in the large rattan baskets. And EVEN, pre-installed GOOD quality drawer slides.
Putting it together was a snap, too. All holes EXACTLY lined up and hardware was perfectly compete. It took only a few minutes since it only had a few parts left for me to put screws in.
Lol.. I’m so excited that I ran to set it up in it’s new home in my British Colonial styled study – and THEN snapped a few photos to write a rare review. This company deserves it! Thank you!!
