I owned morrowind back in the day. This dlc is fun in that respect though the armor sets and dungeons could be better. Warden class is interesting. Not sure if its my fav yet.

Looking at the product package, it seems to be a stand alone online version of Morrowind. When I opened it, the disc shows that it’s Morrowind, just like the add. In reality, the disc is the game Tamriel Online, the Elder Scrolls Online game. But don’t miss the paper in the sleeve that states not to throw it away, as it has a 20 digit code to be entered into the XBOX store. It activates 2 things. First the Morrowind Upgrade for Tamriel Online as well as some additional add-on to that which is less significant, but unexpected, so yay! I paid $12 for what turned out to be what I thought I was getting PLUS Tamriel Online and the Morrowind Discovery Pack.

I couldn’t believe it was actually the base game and the Morrowind expansion with the discovery pack and it was $15 when i ordered it! This is $60 anywhere else and now i see just a day after i received it now is $30 still half the normal cost i wish i bought copies for my friends too! Don’t freak when you install it looks like only the base game you have to activate the code (DO NOT BUY USED) that comes with it to get Morrowind.. You don’t need the base game either.. Don’t listen to all the idiots on here ESO is the best MMORPG right now.. It plays alot like the solo games. Ut it IS ONLINE i mean come on people it says ONLINE in the title SMH… Since the One Tamriel Update you can play with any friends regardless of what alliance you are and the game world levels with you now so you van go anywhere right off the start… This game is awesome! I never cared for online games before but you CAN play this by yourself if you want and play it like a normal TES game if you want it has story and quests galore! And just like the other titles you can change from 1st and 3rd perspective by simply hitting down on the Dpad… Game on!

Warning, this game can be addictive. If you loved the other Elder Scrolls RPG’s then you will love this. Gameplay is slightly different than the others but once you adjust you will be fine. A few features are a bit aggravating, such as when you get killed during a quest & respawn at the nearest checkpoint you usually have to grind your way back thru re-spawned enemies all the way back to where you were killed, only to be killed again. I had to learn to put the quest off & go do something else and return to the quest after I’ve leveled up and have better gear. Even though you can play solo – some bosses you will definitely want to try and tackle fighting alongside other players. Fun, huge game – love it.

I got this for an extremely cheap price and so far, it hasn’t disappointed. It’s been a great expansion with lots of new things to see and do. Furthermore, another nice pro is, after installing this, I could just use this disc to play the base game, so I sold off my old ESO disc.

I played the original on PC, and the game mechanics were not like any other elder scrolls game. The character abilities and skills such as sneak are leveled up differently than they would normally be. Which means you can’t sneak around places and expect your character to increase in that skill. Another issue I had was crafting items in general. You can’t craft armor or weapons as easily as you could in previous games. That was really irritating. The only way to get great armor or other equipment is to either find it throughout the game or try to find ALL the materials needed to craft the item you want. Another reason why I have this game the low rating is because like I mentioned before about the game mechanics; the crime system is annoying. Stealing, attacking or killing of course gets you a bounty. In this game it’s the same except that bounty is counted against you wherever you go until the time runs out or if you get caught by a guard. The problem with the guards is that you can’t kill them. So you have to be fast and lucky enough to out run the guards.
The last thing a I hate about this game is the fact that you have to rely on others to help you beat missions and bosses. You can’t do it yourself that easy. I truly believe that they could have done a better job making this game if they didnt change a lot of the game mechanics.

Unless you have a high speed internet service, this game is not playable. After waiting for 23 hours for the game to download (with a purchased disk), I spent an hour establishing an account, reading all the legaleze and signing my life away in three sections. It was a legal contract to play!! Then I discover that it is asking for more money for purchases inside the game to be competitive with other players! No problem. I don’t want to multplay (can’t due to internet connection) but I can’t find the single player option that was promised. Apparently you have to ignore the invitations to remain alone. But the worst part (yes it gets worse) I couldn’t even get out of my character development before it quit working. I followed XBOX protocol by getting out and pulling the plug for 10 seconds to reset the game. Now I can’t get back in to play.
I am in tears over the loss of such a magnificent game series. And Bethesda you should be ashamed for becoming the greedy legalistic corporation that no longer has any consideration for your players.
