It is hard to find a descent bottle jack these days. I have had better in the past. They don’t make them anymore. I purchased this one to use for my travel trailer. I also have an adapter the fits the bottle jack and allows a good connection with the trailer’s axle shaft. It makes for a much safer use.
All in all it is serving its function to allow a means to jack my travel trailer if the need arrives. Well worth a full 5 stars.

Bought used through Amazon store. Not sure why someone returned it, it works great! Bought it mainly because the floor jack I have doesnโt go high enough for my suv. This definitely goes high enough to lift my tires off the ground and small enough I can keep it in the back to use instead of the crappy one that comes with the vehicle. Iโve used this on a lot of tricks as well and never failed. I think people that have issues are user error more than anything. There is a slight learning curve with bottle jacks. I do recommend using a block of wood or get an adapter for the top. I highly recommend this jack!

Jack works as expected. The only complaint is the two piece handle slides together but unless you really force the pieces together they do come apart during use.

This jack can lift higher than my old floor jack, and it has a smaller footprint, which makes it very useful, and it’s a good value, but really not that great as a primary jack.
The handle it came with is terrible. It came in two pieces to ship in a smaller box, and they’re just pipes with a pinched end that fit together with tension. The motion needed to lift the jack immediately loosens the two sections and the smaller section slides right through the handle receiver and hits the floor. My other jack handle is just slightly too wide to fit in this jack, so I can’t use much leverage.
The release knob is right against the floor with a rubber cover on it, I guess for finger tightening. I had to keep pliers nearby to open it, but then the jack doesn’t lower all the way to the lowest position. It drops until there’s no more weight on it and won’t drop any further, so I have to grab the ram and try to manually push it down a little more to get it out from under the car.
Now, the scary part: I noticed one of the times I was getting the jack into place that the inner ram was going up before the outer ram. I wasn’t sure if that’s how it was supposed to be, but once it started lifting the car, the inner ram dropped suddenly and frighteningly and then I kept going and the outer ram lifted to meet the inner ram and then it started lifting properly. I think I need to fully extend this jack and lubricate everything well.
Don’t use this without jack stands, but that goes for even the best jack. Don’t let hydraulic oil be the only thing holding the car up if you’re putting any part of your body under any part of the car.

I bought two of these jacks and have used both a few times to lift a 10 x 10 ft. storage shed to relevel it. So far, they’ve both worked exactly as they should every time without any hiccups. These seem like a pretty good value to me. We’ll see how they hold up long term but so far, so good.

I specifically ordered this for the screw top size and the telescoping feature to use with an adapter for round axles on my 8x30ft flat bed. It is not too large or heavy but will easily lift one tires on a loaded trailer. It easily fits in my huge tool box.

I used it the day I got it to Jack up one side of a 13,000 lb boat and trailer . The jack worked well and did not struggle. On the negative side (the reason for only 4 stars) is the jacking pump handle.. The two piece handle kept separating. It could have been designed better. The constant separating was a nuisance. When I have a chance I will modify the handle so that it will not keep coming apart. It will be a simple fix that Torin should have done at the factory at almost no cost. Other than that, so far / so good, at a decent price point. Note >> It was available from a different vendor at a couple bucks less, but I needed the next day delivery.

Bought this and it worked great. I used it to barely lift the front of a 4 cylinder motor to remove one mount so it had roughly 100 lbs on it. Keep in mind this is a 6 ton jack. Went out the next day and the jack had drifted down. In my 51 year career I’ve had/used floor jacks and bottle jacks of known and unknown brands so I’m no rookie. Anytime I’ve had a jack do this, if it isn’t leaking externally, it’s internal and this one has no external leak. And yes the release valve was closed TIGHT. I returned it and opted for a replacement. MISTAKE, because the replacement does the same thing. I called Torin Big Red, explained the situation and the rep said their jacks aren’t designed to hold a load at length. I asked her to define “at length.” She fumbled and stuttered then said 1 hour. I fell out laughing and hung up! A hydraulic jack works or it doesn’t and I’ve NEVER had one with a time limit to use it within. I’ve owned a Big Red in the past. It was a good jack, worked flawlessly and served me well but this one is, simply put, JUNK and NOT the Big Red of old. Now, if you need a jack for about an hour then this ones for you but if your gonna replace a motor mount, WORK FAST because the clock will be running. Longer then that, buy a GOOD jack of a different brand. This one will make a good door stop in my garage so I’ll get some use out of it. You’ve been warned.

I bought these as I had a job leveling a deck for a customer. There was very little clearance available and these just fit perfectly. The dual cylinder hydraulics provide a LOT of lift and the screw allows it to give the maximum lift it can provide. I bought 2 and will likely purchase another 2 for my next job.

The double ram easily lifts high enough for most vehicles, it’s very simple to use and easy to store! It’s a little tricky purging all the air out of the system but it works great after you do it might take several tries excellent customer support!
