I bought this for home use, but mainly for travel as we like to camp and this is a great option for on the go. I assembled the grill with no issues, but when it came time to put on the lid and close the top it would not go all the way down so it could be latched (See attached photos). Also if it did the latch was bent, but that was an easy enough fix, more of a foot note than a problem. Everything else went great in the process and it looks amazing, but the lid issue is a non-starter as I need this to be mobile and packable, so it needs to close.
I double checked the instructions and confirmed it was correct and everything was properly tightened. When looking at the lid I noticed that the back “splash guard” part of the cook top had a bend/warp in the metal. I looked closer at the lid as it was closing and found that it was catching on that back wall and would not close. No problem, issues happen, and this one was so small I didn’t notice through the initial trouble shooting.
I got on the Blackstone site and started looking for a way to contact them about a replacement cooktop, and ended up with the chat bot. Super simple to submit the issue and photos, but there was not an available agent to talk to at the time so I was told to watch for an email. After days I had still not received an email even confirming my issue had been received/logged/anything so I tried again. I currently have 3 submitted bot reports, and an email direct to the support team, but still no response.
Back to the product though. The quality emanates from the griddle, you can feel the weight and see in how sleek it is that this is designed and for the most part is a high quality product. I went with a Blackstone as my friends and neighbors with them spoke quite highly of them as well. I have no doubt this griddle will be another excellent tool in my cooking arsenal, but I am waiting to utilize it until I hear back from Blackstone on how to correct my issue with the Griddle plate.

We assembled the griddle and one of the wheels fell off and would not stay on. We called Blackstone to get another part for the wheel to attach permanently and right after we called the other wheel won’t stay on. Blackstone customer support said it will be 4 to 6 weeks to get the part that should fix the problem.
Very disappointed.
Didn’t give it a one because the griddle itself works fine and it was pretty easy to assemble. We bought this model to be able to easily move it. Wouldn’t recommend this model.

Well my partners first Father’s Day gift was extremely short lived- didn’t even make it 2 hours out of the box or even fully put together. Never got to heat it up. What a disappointment! I know my friends and family rave about the Blackstone. I thought it would be best to get the 22” adventure (mobile) edition so we could take it with us camping. This is not what you would expect from a premium product. This was cheaply constructed, the drill holes did not line up and were off center due to the shotty welding. What a nuisance that we had to package it back up for return. I don’t recommend ☹️this product. After researching online reviews, this seems to be a consistent issue.

Easy to put together. Well built. Could not ask for it to cook better. Smash burgers are fantastic. I am almost 70 and have had many many grills. This is by far the easiest to cook on and has made clean up simple. Compared to past grills. It is fuel efficient. Love this product. Blackstone is the ticket. If you’re on the fence about it. Don’t hesitate about it. It will cook for years if you take care of it.
