MCS –
My granddaughter loved this gift. She collects rocks and this box gave many colorful rocks, some smooth, some textured–she loved them all. Very nice gift.
Joy Markowski –
Great for kids occupied
Amazon Customer –
Not enough of stones to play with especially with 4 cards/players. Get only one of each and the rest are just repeats of small common stones like tigers eye approx 3 etc others stones not relevant to game. Useless and waste of money. Don’t buy.

My son and I enjoy playing this game. We have learned a lot about different rocks and minerals and have already used that knowledge in everyday life. There is a bingo side and a tic tac toe side, a few different options on how to play. The only negative we have found is that sometimes we have a hard time finding the rock that matches the description. Some are not as obvious as others, but it’s only a few that we had trouble with. All in all a fun educational way to learn about different rocks. My son is 8 and stayed engaged with the game the whole time.

This was a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas I’m sure she will love it
MR WOLF 15G –
Really good collection of larger stones than most kits. With gaming/learning ideas.
Just needs a full book to discuss all the stone types.

The set came enclosed in another box which i appreciated since it was shipped with a flat of energy drinks. The box of rocks was also wrapped in shrink wrap to keep any loose pebbles inside which was great because one of the bags inside did open or wasnt sealed completely so there were tiny specks of rocks everywhere inside the box. The pictures made it seem like all the rocks would be at least big enough to examine but the majority in number are little bigger than a few grains of sand. The number “over 300” is certainly correct though if you count all the smaller bits. As for sizeable examples, I’d say you have around 30 plus 100 much smaller samples, then several hundred pieces to get lost in the broom. Its a fun set but wouldnt pay more than $20 if i did it again.

The few large rocks and fossils are cool but the small rocks are very tiny. Not very interesting.
Clem Fandango –
Great idea, fun games and a happy child.
Some of the examples are not great, we’re looking to buy a better blue calcite as the one included has poor colour.
Luck of the draw I guess.
Cassandra Ludlow –
Very good

My son loves rocks so this is impressive because you get all the rock, plus the facts about the rocks and it’s interactive because you can play games with it!

My child continues to pull it out and add to his rock collection. Not one of those presents that gets used just once. Priced appropriately
