Was looking for a small footprint device to get cardio going. This does it. Set the setting to where you want high or low resistance….put it on a higher setting and go faster, you will sweat and the heat rate goes. Exercise guys on line who say these are useless??? I am not trying to build muscle….just get cardio and stay toned in a northern winter. Box was a bit beat up but that’s not the manuf. fault, no damage, well packaged.
Bunch of parts but very well labeled so you can’t mess this up. Go on line check out the video…there are two, one is of a actual human putting it together which is very good but the animated one, I think, is a little better a little more straightforward. Several have pointed out that the function board would have been nice if back lighted. I agree can’t see it very well, depends how the light in your room hits it also, I think the calorie counter and speed are skewed high?? (make you think you are burning more calories) Timer and pulse function are good for me, that’s really all I need. As far as function, very smooth operation and parts seem very well made and quality. Some complained about the base not being wide enough, I’ve had no issues with this, I mean if you are staying centered while working out it’s very stable for me, no tipping at all. I saw one where the “foot pedal” broke off…that would be dangerous …maybe a flaw in production on that?? Mine is very sturdy. For the money I think it was a very good deal, compared to some at well over $500. If it can make you sweat, what else do you want.

I bought the Body Power 2-in-1 step trainer about a year and a half ago because I didn’t want to go back to the gym after the pandemic. It’s a great machine, provides a nice full-body workout. A few months ago, the inner belt(?) started shedding bits, like it was coming apart. I contacted Customer Service; they were courteous and timely in their responses. After sending them a video of what the machine was doing, they quickly sent out a replacement – no charge! Great experience!

 I have yet to use the product because it’s missing a lot of pieces.. when you first open the product there’s a form saying there will be missing pieces and just to contact them for whatever pieces you may need. I’ve had to contact them two or three times I’ve had my machine for over a month and it’s still not completed because I’m missing several parts. Some parts are too big. Some parts are too small and I still don’t have the pieces that are needed this machine was a waste of money. I should’ve bought a different product. I have several machines in my home but this is the only one that had issues like this. The machine is still not built and they have yet to send any other pieces that I need if you buy this product , you’ve been warned

Update: Second workout equipment started making a clicking, then a loud banging sound. As an old maintenance man, I was pretty sure a bearing was failing. I was willing to work with them to diagnose the problem, order the parts, and I was willing to fix the equipment myself. I wanted to keep the machine. However, I received virtually no customer service support from the manufacturer. They did not respond to emails; they did not return phone calls. I tried three times to get support, but each time there was nothing from them. Disassembling the machine now and it will be returned as soon as UPS will come and pick it up. Worst customer support experience I’ve had in a long time.

Arrived yesterday. Assembled yesterday (about 2 hours). First workout this morning. Very nice machine. The parts bearing all the stress on this machine appear to be heavy duty and up to the task. Very quiet. I live in an upstairs apt and I’m sure they heard nothing below me. I wanted a machine where I could control the resistance, and I am happy with that aspect of this machine. You really feel each click as you reduce/increase resistance. Really got my heart rate up this morning. Very sturdy feel. Don’t get the impression that this machine is cheap crap about to fall apart. Without being able to say anything about durability at this point, I am very happy with this purchase.

Negatives: Assembly instructions were good but with very small diagrams for older eyes. My machine has a very slight wobble, but that may be due to the uneven floors in my old apt. The digital readout is not backlit and is a little cheesy. Pulse monitor was not very close to the reading provided by my chest-strap heart monitor. There were some scratches on the digital readout mechanism right out of the box. The hardware comes in a kind of blister pack piece of cardboard. I noticed right away that I was missing a bolt, and found out later that the missing bolt was essential to assembly. After going through all the packaging debris I found the bolt hiding under a flap at the bottom of the box. Check your hardware right away so you don’t throw away/lose hardware you will absolutely need for assembly. There are some exotic bolts and washers that you cannot do without.

All in all, this is a nice machine and definitely worth the money — keeping in mind that I cannot provide any testimonial at this as to durability.
