I didn’t expect such awesome sound and so happy! Excellent performance and great price. Perfect fit for my 2017 Ram Big Horn 1500 Crew Cab 5.7 Hemi. I needed other exhaust repairs done so I had the muffler installed at the same time. Easy peasy and much smaller than the 20 gallon size OEM muffler… LOL!

Put it on a 2006 Yukon Denali with the 6.0 – I did not want loud, I wanted clean crisp sound unless I was WOT…
If I come on the on ramp around 50 and need to give it the juice – by golly it sounds amazing…
High way speeds at 80 bit more tone than I want but still pretty good and not over bearing (radio half up is cancels out.
Town driving at 30-50 perfect and sounds good from the outside.

Installed on a 5.0 small block ford in my Ranger. Each bank probably has less than 4 feet of tubing total and this muffler really helped to quiet it down, despite being a straight-through design. If you are looking for a loud exhaust this muffler isn’t it, but it gives a nice deep tone and gets pretty loud when you step on it.

Going from a Flowmaster Super 44 to this is quite the change. After reading some of the reviews, I thought this was going to be an aggressive tone. It’s not. In fact, it’s quiet. You’ll hear a little bit of rumble when taking off, but it smooths out and is pretty quiet. I couldn’t use my hands free calling with the Flowmaster, no one could hear me, only the muffler. With this, I can use it, but can’t annoy everyone else with the exhaust. Guess I’m getting old, cause it’s still on there. It’s not aggressive at all. If you want something tame, this muffler is for you.

This is the best sounding exhaust! I installed this on my 2014 Silverado, and I had the tailpipes made with chrome tips. Sounds great at startup and while normal driving. At highway speed there is NO drone, I can have a normal conversation and talk on the phone at a normal level. But when you get on the gas hard, man it sounds incredible! I’ve had a lot of compliments on the sound.

Got it installed on my 2022 F150 tremor 3.5 eco boost . It was the right inlet and outlet size. Muffler shop had to add a small piece of pipe because it’s shorter than stock but I knew that would be the case. Added a nice little rumble to the exhaust sound but not too loud and zero drone while cruising. Part of me wishes it was a bit louder but my wife is happy it’s not. Seems like a nice muffler for someone that wants a little exhaust noise but doesn’t want to piss off the neighbours

I just had this Borla installed on my 2017 Chevy Silverado v8 at local muffler shop. It sounds amazing not loud but more of a growl if you want “boy racer” loud this is not the one for you. Sound great when I crank the truck then it sounds like a V 8 should a little louder went you get on it. I had the flapper removed with my install, I spoke directly with Borla and did or research as well,then each pipe when out behind each tire bent at same angle as factory with some double walled tips I also bought here off of Amazon. I have no drone what so ever. Shops here were around $200 for custom install mine looks great, so total I have about $380 in great sounding exhaust system and without making neighbors or wife mad at me LOL, Borla makes a great product and they are made right here in the USA in Johnsonville Tenn. they cost more but you get what you pay for.

Nice fit and finish and well constructed. Moderate sound, with my Chevy big block it has a nice rumble at idle and opens up when you get on it. Have not noticed any drowning noise when cruizing.

Fit perfectly on my Raptor, has better sound deep V8 Rumble, sounds good with stock resonator. Very great price, and cheaper option to go with compared to ordering a full catback exhaust system. Borla Muffler always High Quality. Recommend for other Raptor owners with 6.2L engine

I am completely happy with this muffler on my 2016 RAM Big Horn Crew Cab 4×4 with 5.7 Hemi engine. I had a muffler swap done with the 26 lb. stock muffler because I wanted a more open, natural tone.
This muffler made a noticeable improvement in how the truck rolls. I am not having to herd the truck forward any more with the gas pedal and I am using more brake pedal than I did before to get stopped. The engine is able to get rid of the exhaust gases much easier now compared to stock. I have a K&N drop-in air filter and reccomend that too!
I have not noticed any drone in MDS operation from 0-80 MPH. I do notice a nice, deep, satisfying rumble in town and on the highway. Notice in the pictures that you can see through the muffler from the inlet through the dual outlets.
I was told by Borla customer service that this muffler would drone (even if I left the factory resonators on) and that I needed to spend over $1,000 on their catback system or leave my exhaust stock. I have $165 in this muffler swap including having it installed and welded and am completely happy. The muffler shop did need to flare my exhaust pipes 1/4 inch to weld them to the 2.50 inch outlets on the muffler

This muffler fit took it to a muffler shop for install with some extra hangers pipe and welding it fit good not a do it yourself upgrade…but if your a guy that has all the tools and has a mig welder its a easy job. Installed on all stock exhaust on 2015 ram 1500 sport with stock cats and resonators on it sounds amazing good rumble quite no drone you put your foot into it you hear that hemi
