Used this product while I was building a suspended storage area in the garage above the garage door. Basically 2×4 construction using construction screws and hangers for the 2×4. The offset attachment was great for driving in the 2 5/8 inch size 8 screws I was using. On the hangers I used 1 3/8 screws and it made short work of them all. Had a couple of joists in the way and found the 90 degree driver worked perfectly to get screws in there. Since I was working in the air I liked the light weight of these item. They have good torque but not as much as the 18 volt models I have but are far lighter and have enough and are much easier to handle due to smaller size. Probably if I was going to just get 1 tool I would get this item due to its versatility. It would be nice if they made this in brushless for even better battery life but it was fine for what I was doing. If you were driving screws all day you would need a couple of batteries as that seemed to take the most out of the battery, I think you could probably drill things all day. Great tool glad I got it.

I’ve owned this for almost 2 years now and after today, I gotta say I’m impressed with the durability and build quality. I was doing some work on a ladder and (not proud to admit this) I managed to drop the Bosch driver not once, but three times from a height of about 20 feet, onto asphalt. Still works perfectly. Not suggesting anyone else does this but man am I glad I bought this.
Exceptionally durable would be my summary. Beyond that the attachments are really useful, especially the 90 degree one. I use that one the most. All are easy to attach and swap. Battery life seems to go on forever. All in all, a definite recommend from me.

I’m subtracting one star because it was shipped with only one battery. I bout it “reconditioned”, but I don’t think that means that it should be missing a component of the kit.
I’m a fan of Bosch 12v tools, and this meets my high expectations.
The power is adequate for most common tasks for finish carpenters and cabinet-installers. If you’re planning to remove lug nuts or something, then I suggest a good impact driver/wrench. I think it could drive decking screws, but it would be slow-ish, and I wouldn’t expect it to drive them all day long without damage to the tool.
The attachments are very useful and feel solid. I particularly like the offset attachment for screws that need to be driven flush. I’ve worked as a cabinet installer for several years, and I foresee this being particularly useful for hardware installation.
I do recommend a second drill with a 3-jaw chuck instead of repetitively changing bits in the detachable 3-jaw chuck that comes with this kit. Putting the detachable chuck back on just to loosen a drill bit and put in another bit becomes an annoyance very quickly. It’s still entirely useable, and it saves money and space compared to having a second drill. That’s the main thing that I dislike about using this drill, so I’m happy with this purchase overall.

Desirable product. Federally licensed aircraft mechanic (A&P) here and I used my old one daily. I ordered this to replace a 6 yr old identical unit that the motor quit functioning after a scrap of metal got into it. I hope this one performs as well as my old one as I was merciless with it. I abused this thing regularly and it held up which is why I ordered another. Citation Bravo w/ 32 fuel pnl’s per wing, painted and old, about 800 star screws that fought back, locked the direction and used it as a screwdriver, just one example. The driver itself is short’ish and can get into tight places, quick change “nose” is great for multiple screw types (Torq-set screw (Nazi) SUCKS!!!!!!!!, star, phillips and straight). Trigger is responsive to variable pressure and speed. Torque is excellent and faster RPM than Milwaukee. lighter than Makita. Highly recommended. Arrived next day by Amazon. Paid a little more but worth it so far.

I have been looking at this sort of item for a very long time but already owning a number of drills, I could not justify getting this. But then my son started university and he said he will have projects where a drill will be very handy. I now have my excuse to get a new 1.
It was shipped slowly. Well it took a long time to get here but I wasn’t in a hurry to get it. Was somewhat excited about it. A little disappointed that it appeared to be a used return but for the price I got it for, I can live with that.
The unit itself is so sturdy feeling and very heavy for it’s size. It’s about the same size as the 1 I’m sending to my son but it feels as heavy as a full sized drill. The motor is so smooth, the smoothest of any of my drills. I’m really looking forward to using this.
I’m not a builder and I don’t use drills on a daily basis. I just want a really good 1 for around the house things and for when I’m working on golf clubs. I have a makeshift golf shop in my garage and having a couple of drills setup with various bits that I need is incredibly convenient. I’m also intrigued by all the different changeable heads this comes with. Most of the time, I’ll keep the 1/4 inch quick change head in. But having the option for other pieces is what really drew me to this. I have run into times when I needed something angled or a 90 degree turn but didn’t have the right pieces to make it easy. Now I do.
Having 2 batteries is no nice. I can keep going if and when 1 dies and that’s really important for me. When I’m on a roll, I want to keep it going.
I haven’t put the drill through everything yet but I can tell it will be an amazing complement to all my power tools.

It is compact and handy, but there are some nuances, firstly, there is no bracket in the kit so that you can hang it on your belt. Secondly, there is a slot for a bit, to insert a bit, you need to press the lock, many analogs have long used automatic bit reception, which could be more convenient but bearable. Overall happy

I am a DIY enthusiastic person. I had 2 different brands of impact and hammer drills set but they are all regular size drills. When I see this drill, I am not paying too much attention to it. Then I see a set from my colleague, I start to think about why I need this. After a period of time, I am telling myself I should not waste money on my third set for no reason. However, the promotion price from amazon drew my attention again. I eventually bought it and test it. After couple small project using it, I decide to do this review.
I really like it. It is lighter and smaller than my drill sets. When u work at restricted area with limited room and ceiling or high height work, this drill definitely has an advantage over any regular drill. It is easy to hold and carry. the switchable concept is invincible. No need to carry two drills anymore and easy to switch amongs different caulks. Right angle and offset caulks are big selling points too. One small bag pretty much carry everything. I put a bits box in the bag instead of charger to make it more comprehensive with pretty much everything I need in one single bag.
The whole set is solid built and good quality. If really want me to criticize, I will say the power is not too high but good enough for most DIY project. The price (even regular price) is quite competitive considering it comes with 2 batteries and different caulks.
Highly recommend this to any persons for a new drill or second or third set. 🙂
