This thing is great, but like any high-performance tool, it needs to be fed the juice, I opted to get this as it comes with x2 3.AH batteries, i also have some 2.AH batteries but it runs through those quick.

You will invent ways to use this tool. You will have to splurge for the 6AH battery though. The 2AH and 3AH batteries don’t last very long running this. Beside that, it is the perfect tool for heavier-than-Dremel-work, but not quite 40K rpm angle grinder work. Mine lives with a wire ball at the ready.

I like it is cordless, compact, and can be used with other Bosch 12v lineup tools. Size and weight are great, but the grip is a little too large for some with small hands, because the battery fits inside the handle. Otherwise a good buy if you want a compact cordless angle grinder.

Have been looking for years for something I could use when the pneumatic right angle die grinder at the workshop was not available.
I was open to a corded solution. I never expected anything to come close.
I also didn’t want to invest in a different battery charging system, but so glad I did.
This tool is amazing. I use it mainly with steel, and 2 inch and 3 inch abrasive pads
It grains down welds with no issue. It removes paint and protective layers. It also handles fine finishing polishes. I just took a larger piece of rusty steel up to a mirror finish.
Just so impressed with this tool. Highly recommended.

Got it for auto repair/maintenence and woodworking. Amazing torque…I can press fairly heavily using a scuff pad to clean up metal and it doesn’t slow down. This is not even comparable to a dremel or drywall cutoff tool. Love the power and 90 degree grip. Variable speed trigger handle works great and easy to keep the speed going. Very happy, worth the high cost.

I’m on the Dewalt 20v and Bosch 12v battery environments and for cost and logistics I try to stay in these battery lines.
I’ve been waiting for a battery powered right angle die grinder for quite a while. I have the Dewalt strait die grinder but there are times a right angled one would be more effective or ergonomically better.
I was happy to hear Bosch was releasing this unit earlier this year (2024) but at a crazy introductory kit price of over 350cad. I decided to wait and on Black Friday it finally came on sale for under 300 (including 2 x 3ah batteries). You can also just purchase the tool but I decided it was good to have the batteries.
While I haven’t used it long, overall I’m quite pleased with this unit (probably more for just being able to get a cordless right angle unit).
It is larger than expected and seems well built though it is rather plasticy which gives it an advanced homegamer feel. From a design perspective, I think the Milwaukee units are aimed more at professional users.
I was also surprised that there is no LED light as on the Milwaukee and Dewalt cordless die grinders. Though this is not a deal breaker it is a nice to have . In a newly released tool in 2024, I just assumed one would have been cleverly incorporated by a major tool brand???
As I stated previously in my reviews of Bosch’s 12vmax tools if I was starting over I would just invest in the Milwaukee 12v line. They have a more comprehensive 12v tool selection and innovate quickly.

this has variable speed options along with a variable speed trigger. i cant say enough good about it. the M12 is all out or nothing with no variable speed control.

2 baterías de 3A. Si gasta considerablemente rápido la batería, por ello trae 2 incluidas en el kit. No he puesto atención a la duración de la misma quizá 30 min constantes. Es lo de menos, con 2 es más que perfecto.
La compre para quitar óxido a láminas de equipos médicos y pintarlas. Hace poco hice una estructura de ángulo de 3/4 de fierro negro para poner un techo a una ventana. Tuve que limpiar los ángulos que se estaban manchando con óxido. La grandísima ventaja es que en AliE xpress y acá mismo hay muchos insumos para ser usados con los discos de 2 pulgadas, incluso se puede usar discos de 1”. Con el adaptador de 1”. El madril Acepta zancos desde 6 hasta 6.34mm (1/4). Solo que en 6mm se tiene que apretar a tope. De preferencia que sea de 6.3mm o 1/4. Es extremadamente cómodo, una exquisitez el tenerlo en la mano. Limpia el metal de óxido con una deliciosa facilidad. Esta herramienta de verdad que enamora. Ya le hice el amor 3 veces seguidas la neta.
