I have a boss bcb30 so i need this little but reliable tuner and it fits on the small space above my boss effects

I have this side by side with my TC Electronic Polytune 3. And while the Polytune showed green/in tune. The Boss was about 5 cents flat. Once I got in tune according to the Boss, the Polytune still showed in tune. The Boss is definitely more accurate. I will be using this for my intonation adjustments moving forward.
My only nitpick is sharp notes are indicated by a small dot at the lower right of the note name. It took me a moment to adjust to that.

As always Boss products rock! The Tuner pedal does exactly what it says. Excellent Tuner Pedal for all kind of artists including recording and live musicians. Highly recommend it! Thank you!

If you must have one chromatic tuner, this is it. It doesn’t have an on/off switch but not having one is an advantage because you can monitor if your chords are in tune and your guitar is in tune all the time.
Highly recommended.

I run an effects out of my Tascam 464 Portastudio that I am using as mixer, into the Boss.
I do a weekly acoustic guitar online Meetup group.
I plug my Taylor 612CE into the board on a channel, my Neuman TLM93 vocal mic into a Peavvy phantom power supply and them into a balanced XLR 2nd channel. I run stereo RCA lines out into 1/8″ mini jack into my sound card line/mic in on my Lenovo P300 PC.
This Boss allows quick tuning. And I can go in and out of open G, open D etc. tunings. I like not having to stomp on the pedal to turn on the tuner, not having to worry about 9V battery to get it running.
I’ve only had it a week so I need to learn it.
It’s small.
The actual “Boss” power supplies are EXPENSIVE. I bought a Chinese aftermarket substitute for $9.95. It seems to work. Before that arrived, I found an old universal DC adapter with slider voltage switch and prongs in the middle of the output cable that you can swap to change polarity.
I got out the Fluke voltmeter to measure what was actually coming out of the “6, 8, 9, 12 V” marked positions and to measure polarity. Glad I did. That old adapter set right also works well.

Built like a tank, fits great on my pedalboard.
Mike –
Works great, really like that itโs on all the time.
Argon Development –
I really like how small this is and that I can daisy chain power supply off of it. The only thing is that itโs constantly active, so if I run power off of it to my big sky it buzzes. Hardcore. Even when its in a closed loop from my tuner.
I have to run a separate power supply to keep the buzz out of my signal chain, but other than that itโs great.

Great tuner. Iโve always wondered why I needed a tuner to take up so much space. A huge plus is that it still has the double 9v out so you can daisy chain power to another pedal. I still havenโt found a mini pedal that can do that. When it comes to accuracy I still trust my TC Electronic though. It seems to hear the note better. This has itโs moments where it gets a little confused on what Iโm playing. But only for a quick moment. No biggie.

Very little real-estate on my board and accurate. What else do you need in a tuner?
Secare –
Does exactly what you expect it to do, small size takes up less room.
