Comes with instructions, but easier to follow of YouTube video. Also if your not in Canada, change the installation location to USA. Very good quality all in one printer.

First of all, the getting started guide is totally inadequate. the panel is entirely too small, and too dark, extremely difficult to read without a flashlight. it is replacing a mx922 which has a much larger panel in the front, and it is quite easy to read. It did not want to pair with my wifi, took several attempts. It has a flimsy feel to it.
In its defense, I mainly bought it to print photographs, which it does an adequate job. Just be patient when setting up, and have the owner’s manual up on your computer to answer questions. Going back and forth between the printer and computer can make for a frustrating task!

So far, we’re very pleased with this printer; however, time will tell. The Black ink is very affordable.

First, I want to say that this was super easy to set up. I am pretty much computer illiterate and got through it in about 20 min. Connects to my iPhone and MacBook. I do have to go back into my settings because I tried to print from my phone for the second time and it didn’t work this time. Hopefully an easy fix. I’ll update later. The speed of printing Is not great, I wish it were a little faster, but for the price I don’t think I should complain. I didn’t try using photo paper yet but I printed a test photo on paper and it turned out great! The colors look real good. Only complaint is there is no backlight on the display. I have to get a flashlight to read it. Plus it’s pretty small. But then again, I think for the price it probably is OK, but I’m happy with the printer. I don’t use it all that often.

This Canon TR4723 is a great printer, I got it in white and just love it. I set it up online with the accompanied instructions and downloaded the canon utilities and can set the printer to only stay on when I need it, which I have set for 15minutes and then it shuts off and when it comes out of the box, the printer stays on all the time is it’s default, by myself. Very easy to do. This multifunction printer, scans, copies and if you fax will do that. Just remember to save your previous USB cord as it does not come with one, or you will have to buy one. It is a great printer and well worth the money, paper tray is a little flimsy. But a great Printer!

Looks nice, wish I could set it up and see how it prints. The only message I get on the display is “Language Selection” I choose English and it goes into a loop and never completes the setup. Going to have to return and I need a printer TODAY! There are no contact numbers if you have problems. This model (TR4723) does not show as an option in the online set up. When I try to type it in, it says “Invalid name”.

They don’t disclose this. This series is a Canadian printer, so no warranty here. No back light on LED, so you’ll need to keep a lamp on your printer to see anything. Not printing from phone which we really wanted. It printed a few times initially only because I (had to) install the Canon app and go through several extra steps even tho all wifi settings match. Really disappointed. Never buying Canon again.
