I love these. They were so handy to file important papers in and group all the document books for kitchen appliances, washer and dryer document book etc. They’re sturdy.

Slider needs to open more as it is difficult to place a standard piece of paper into it without bending it. Otherwise good protection

The first one worked great, so I was very pleased! The second one I pulled out had the metal tab broken off. Never could get it to work. The third one needed to be zipped back and forth a few times before it worked perfectly. It is a bit difficult to put the pages in the folder, since it does take some bending to get them in. Bottom line, these work to hold a thick (3/8 inch) packet, and there’s not a lot of others to choose from.

Cardinal brand plastic zippered binder pockets comes in 5 different zipper colours to provide easy classification for what you are filing. Zipper works perfectly. Since I put 80 sheets of 8.5×11 copy paper inside it without any problem, zipper design seems good to me to keep at least 80 sheets of paper without giving any damage to zipper. It also perfectly fits in binders. Its walls/sides have enough thickness to protect the sheets. I am very glad that I finally found a product which has both good quality and very suitable for large filing system.

I like this product but wish it was ½ inch wider. Because of the zipper, I have to flex the papers to fit them in but then they lay flat. I would think this could hold 20+ sheets of paper, but that would require a lot of flexing to get them all into the folder. It’s even harder to get them back out. If it was 1/2 inch wider, this wouldn’t be a problem. Because of that I would deduct a star.
However, there’s a great hidden feature. On the bottom of the folder, there is a flap that allows you to fold up the binder holes section so that you don’t have to use it in a binder. That’s great, especially because I didn’t want to use it in a binder. Add that star back to the rating!
I’m struggling to find a folder similar to this that will fit into my 12” file drawer and offer a greater ease of use when putting papers in or taking them out. So far, this works the best, mostly because of it’s size. I just wish it was a touch wider.

Lo que todo mundo necesita para tener organizados documentos importantes. La calidad es muy buena, solo no hay que meter más de la cuenta para que no se maltraten.

These are slightly larger than an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I would prefer that the overall structure be no more than 8 1/2 x 11 for the aesthetics of storing things in a binder. But I can’t them they’re sturdy and they are functional. Just wish they were slightly smaller.

I have a lot of half and quarter size owners manuals and users guides that these hold perfectly without them all clumping up at the bottom of a file folder.

Many quality issues: (1) zippers don’t stay closed half the time, (2) plastic accordions were already beat up out-of-the-box, (3) many of the metal corners were attached askew, (4) plastic wasn’t sealed consistently. Also, these stick out past the edge on normal binders. Would not recommend.

For context, I bought these to go into a zippered binder to hold games (one game to a pocket). Some of those game books are letter sized (or at least lengthed, 11″) booklets.
The pocket is large enough to hold things that are 8.5×11″ perfectly, but the zipper doesn’t open all the way (it’s about a quarter inch short) so you have to bend whatever you’re putting in if it’s a full 11″ long. Wasn’t /much/ of a problem in my case, but might be depending on what you’re putting in the pocket.
The binder holes are not quite as close to the pocket as you might like, so they don’t quite fit into the zippered binder properly. There’s enough room on the tab to add additional binder holes further in, but I haven’t tried that yet so I can’t say how well it’ll work. If you aren’t using a zippered binder, or at least aren’t zipping it shut, this won’t be an issue for you.
I’ve only had them a day at this point so I can’t speak to how well they’ll hold up, but at first glance they seem to be of good construction and feel fairly sturdy. Unlike some poly pockets I’ve seen these are made of a poly that feels thick and sturdy, and the expansion is handled without leaving gaps around the edges of the pockets. I don’t think they’re water proof, but if you spill something on them while they’re closed, I think these would do an admirable job of protecting what you’ve placed inside.

I got these to put in my assessment binder kits I made but I’m sure they would be helpful for any kind of teacher, homeschool parent, or tutor who likes to stay organized! I placed them in binders with matching colors too 🙂
