right out of the box the red color pops, this photo doesn’t do it justice. weighted keys are fantastic, action is really good, haven’t hooked the bluetooth up to it yet, will do that shortly. i wanted to give an out of the box review first. played around for about 30 mins and keys feel surprisingly good! very happy with this purchase. waiting for the red keyboard stand to get delivered to match it.

This is a fantastic piano to get. Love everything about it the only bad thing that I can think of is that it doesn’t get super loud. It’s definitely lacking some bass. Hooked up to even a cheap amplifier makes it sound amazing.

I loved the piano. It is stylish, light weight, fairly easy to use, and sounds great for the price. It was great until the left side speaker started making this crackling static noise whenever I played after only 6 months of having it. The people were nice because it was under warranty but still wish that didn’t happen

This keyboard feels great and I like the limited number of sounds but I’d advise spending a little more and getting the PX-S3000. On that model you can actually see the sound that is selected and there are over 700 sounds included. I returned this model and got the PX-S3000 and I am very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded.
keyboard came with 2 faulty white keys that makes clicky sounds when pressed. video added to review. I don’t know if this is from a bad quality control or because of the shipment.

I have always been against electric keyboards because I have a grand piano at my parents home. However, moving away to college makes it difficult to try and shop for pianos. The weighted keys make it feel identical to my Kawai grand piano and the sound is amazing as well. I’ve tried so many keyboards and they all have the same bouncy keyboard feel but this is much different. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the closest feeling to an acoustic piano without having to pay the expensive price tag or the space it takes up in your room!

It feels great, it sounds great. This digital piano it’s just phenomenal especially when considered the price it’s just too good.
It sound really, really close to a real piano it’s actually mind-blowing. Ad the action is great. There are some people on YouTube saying that the action is “too light” or it doesn’t feel real. Well, its just baloney.
Casio pianos gets a lot of hate online especially from the hardcore piano communities that for years have been fanoboying about Kawai, Yamaha and Roland. Casio in the last years have done incredible progress in terms of quality and that for some reason annoys certain group of people.
The Casio PX-S1100 in my opinion the Grand Piano tone completely blow out of the water the Yamaha models on the same price range, is totally on pair with Kawai and Roland, for example the Roland FP30X. If you like a more mellow sound the Casio PX-S1100 is what you want, where instead the Kawai especially has a more brilliant tone, either one of them is fantastic.
The action is really good and I can barely notice any difference in weight between the keys. Only if I REALLY pay attention to it I can feel a VERY slight difference but nothing at all that may be end to be annoying or disturb your playing in any way.
This model actually uses a new chip compared to the older PX-S 1000 and you can totally hear the difference, the sound is more clear and deep.
And it looks super sleek, I can literally set aside my computer keyboard and put the piano on my computer desk and use it, that’s how slim it is. You cannot find another digital piano with that performance and is that sleek, thin and light. The Kawai ES110, Roland FP30X, Yamaha P125 are much heavier and big and for sure I couldn’t never be able to just put aside my pc keyboard and use my computer desk as piano desk as well.
If you have space issues or you want something that get the smallest amount of space without sacrificing sound and piano action quality at this point the Casio PX-S1100 it becomes a no brainer and there is NOTHING remotely comparable on the market.
I reserve to update this review if I will have new thoughts and opinion as I know this digital piano more.
So far, it’s an hands down 5/5 stars.

I use this as my travel keyboard when I’m away from my Grand Piano for several days or more. The feel, quality, look, and sound quality of this Digital Piano is 2nd to none at this price point. Beats keyboards costing 3X as much. Also looks better than keyboards costing thousands more. Won’t be disappointed.

Designed and looks excellent. Sound Quality is Studio and Live Ready. Very mobile or can be secured to Casio Stand for further Elegance and Sturdiness.

Another Casio with a low quality control so had a key that start working after a few days , return it to amazon and got a Roland Fp10, much much much better

I bought this after selling my super high end Korg SV2 that I used for gigging. It was just too complex and super bulky with no external speakers so besides the 50 pound keyboard, I also had to schlep a heavy amp. I wanted to downgrade to something uncomplicated with good sounds, lightweight, sleek with small footprint and external speakers built in. I really liked everything about this and almost ticked every box except the display was so difficult to read (especially if playing in the dark) and how to shift to different voices was not very intuitive to me. I wished the speakers had more output but I guess that’s part of why it was so light. If you’re buying for looks–it’s lean and beautiful. My search unfortunately needed to continue.
