Castelli has alot of bicycle clothing at mid-prices. I have used alot of shorts, jerseys, gloves, etc. from a well-known US brand founded in Tokyo in l950 that has price points similar to Castelli. I have always backed off on Castelli because I was never sure whether I need sizes 1 or 2 (or 3 for shorts) times larger than just about every other brand. I guess Italians are smaller for the size LOL. My last set of gloves from the other company lasted about 200 rides before they were just too ratty to use. So I researched out similar products here and got these. They are clearly made with better quality materials than their competitors. 1 size larger that usual (large vs. medium) fit just fine, although a little tight but they will stretch with use. They are very comfortable and well padded for rough gravel rides etc. I saw one review where the threads around a finger were coming off. Mine are well stitched and not had that problem after 10 rides and don’t expect to. With the other brand, the velcro tabs to close around the back of the hand did not work well, I would be half way through a ride and they were off. Bouncing around trying to close the velcro tabs on one hand with the other is not safe, meaning one would have to stop to close them back up which none of us want to do. Not with these Castelli’s, the velcro closures stay together for a 3 hour bouncy ride. Overall, just great quality for the price, very comfortable gloves, and I am going to start transitioning over to fully to Castelli cycling clothes where possible, just need to figure out how to get the right sizes…….

High-quality, super comfortable, and great looking. I own three (3) pair of these now and are simply the gold standard for road cycling.
Cervelo Rider –
These are very comfortable understated gloves with nice padding and great fit. They have a small velcro strap that from past experiences will tend not to stay closed after a year though. Still they are very nice and I do recommend them.

Well made nice gloves. Tight fitting – go up a size if unsure, not down. Expensive

Excellent Quality and great fit!

The Castelli glove is well made, has good padding & fits well but it’s not as easy to takeoff as Pearl Izumi. Pearl Izumi gloves have little flaps on the palm side of fingers which makes removing them easier.

I ride a lot and wash my gloves after every ride. These are holding up well. A bit hard to get off, but I now turn them inside out when taking off then reverse. Great product!

I ride a lot and have tried a lot of gloves. These are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I did size up, I am usually a medium, but the large is perfect. Not bulky, but there is some nice grip and padding.

I am a road biker, so no suspension. My gloves are an important part of absorbing road chatter. I used these to replace an old pair of Pearl Izumi gloves with gel. These gloves provide at least as much protection as my Pearls did. Some of the reviews have said these were tight and hard to get on and off. It’s true they were tight the first few times I wore them. But they have stretched a bit and are now easy to get on and are getting easier to get off. I am very satisfied with these gloves

An ok pair of gloves; not really worth the cost. My hands did go numb even with the Castelli Damping System which was the primary reason I bought them. I think I found the microscopic pull flap to get the gloves off (not 100% sure that is what the flap is designed for however). All modern gloves I’ve owned have pull tabs or loops sewn in. I’ll just peel off each finger I guess and hope I don’t tear the seams.
I took the advice of the reviews here and went one size up from XL to 2XL. Glad I did. The 2XL is still small on my hands. Pearl Izumi Elite Gel gloves are just as good, maybe even better and less expensive.
