I have a 2024 Lexus SUV in dark blue. I’m pretty fanatical when it comes to detailing my cars. My vehicle is not ceramic coated, but I use a number of spray on waxes and sealants. Rather than not having it have it build up, I decided to give this soap a try. I use it either in a bucket or I use my IK spray foamer, with both methods I get great results. This soap is very concentrated and with just a few capfuls, it is way more than enough. My vehicle gets “squeaky clean” after I wash and rinse my vehicle having “start over” with no worries of and build up at all. And I like the size choices the Chemical Guys offer, the 16oz size is too small, the gallon size is to bi, the the 64oz is perfect for me. A great soap that I can highly recommended to anyone.

It didn’t work well for me. I used it to try to remove a previously applied ceramic SiO2 spray wax, but the paint remained hydrophobic even after five or six washes and rinses. If I put in the effort and washed it even more than that, then the hydrophobic properties would start to diminish, but it was just way too much work and I was getting tired so I called it a day.

I decided to start doing some amateur detailing and paint correction to protect my car. I was previously going to El Car Wash, a pretty good car wash subscription here in Miami but the scratches and swirls were too much. Long story short, the have some good protection that I had to remove to start claying, and it worked pretty well. The product is pretty concentrated and with a bit in one wash everything on that paint was gone, the water started sheeting and sticking to the paint. Many of their products are more hype but this one actually delivers.
