I’m reviewing the 52 quart Coleman Cooler. Excellent finish throughout. The seals around the cover are so good, ice will stay for a couple of days, sometimes 4 days if you don’t keep opening and closing it. One of the things I hate about the info on products like these is that they never tell you straight out the size of the interior. Well I’m going to tell you right now: The inside dimensions are 22 inches wide, by 12.5 inches. It is 13.5 inches tall. I got this one because our relatives keep borrowing our coolers and never returning it. We will flat-out refuse to lend them anything anymore, including this cooler.

Other coolers I’ve used in the past didn’t keep the ice cold for longer than a few hours. Took this cooler camping for the weekend and still had ice cubes in it after 24-48 hrs. Sturdy material. Handles make it easy to carry. Plenty of room for two large bags of ice and various food/drinks.

As someone who is always looking for the cheapest product while still wanting quality, this was the best I could find. I primarily use this for camping and keeping my perishables cold while outdoors.
The cool bits:
-Of course the main bit would be keeping your stuff cool. Which it sure as heck does. The longest I went for a camping trip with this has been 3 days. I only used like 10 pounds of ice and at the end of it all, ice was still in there floating in the pool of water that inevitably would be there. As long as you’re not keeping the thing open all the time, it’ll be a while before things start to warm up in there,.
-This thing is sturdy as heck. You can comfortable sit on top without feeling any sort of give away. Maybe even two people if you’re both light enough.
-Its got a nice water drain at the bottom. No need to flip the whole thing over to dump out the liquid. I guess if you really wanted (and cleaned the hecking thing) you could conceivably use this as a drink dispenser. Proceed at your own risk.
The not cool bits:
-I haven’t seen any other comments regarding the handles so it possibly might just be me but the handles flex in a way that makes me feel like they will snap off. This alone is enough to drop a star off this otherwise solid product. If you have anything in the cooler that will make it hefty, picking it up with the handles is risky. You can hear it start crackling where the handle meets the side wall. I was forced to try to not use the handles much during the trip which was horrible considering there is no easy way to carry it otherwise. Its a big bulky object with no other real handholds. This was only on a trip where I didn’t even pack it up with a lot. If this was full, I could see the very real possibility of the handles ripping out. I may limit test this next time I go on my trip.
TLDR: Everything about this ice chest is solid except for the handles. Luckily I don’t see many people with this issue but I’m not reviewing for the overall population. Just for the one I have. Perhaps you’ll get lucky and not have this issue. Hopefully you don’t get one like mine.

Was looking at more expensive coolers but this had great reviews and advertising. We have used it several times and it lives up to its claims. Definitely keeps things cold for three days and longer with dry ice!

This is a great cooler, sturdy and well-built, easy to handle, a nice size. I loaded it with ice and beverages and it kept everything cold for 5 days on a camping trip. I used the steel-belted Coleman coolers for years, but their price is a bit steep for me these days. This cooler is a nice lower-priced substitute. Pro tip: freeze some 2-liter bottles of water and pack them in with your food and beverages. Also, limit the number of times you open the cooler. If you’re constantly in and out of it, your food isn’t going to stay cold as long.

The capacity of this cooler is perfect for core camping as a single person. I have more than enough room for everything I need and can carry a bunch of ice to keep all my stuff cold. The quality of material is amazing and extremely durable. The handles make it extremely easy to move and use. Additionally, I found that the ice didn’t melt for quite a long time compared to other coolers I have used in the past. The only issue that I have is that the lid will not stay all the way open however, this is not a big issue as I don’t need it to stay open the majority of the time. I would definitely recommend this product and it is fairly priced.

We were totally amazed, after 10 hours in heat, the ice never melted. Three days later, when we went to empty out the ice from the chest on our return home, most of the ice was still frozen. Truly works.
