I love this cot! It’s super easy to put up and take down. It’s comfortable too. i mean it’s still a cot. you’re still on stretched canvas and it feels like it, but you don’t hit any bars and it’s not too narrow. I did put a comforter folded in half on it for extra padding and was good. The side “table” is a fantastic feature. I stuck my eye drops and phone in the cup holder and had them right there where i needed them. no reaching onto the floor or accidentally knocking things away.
It’s heavy, but not enough to bother me. i wouldn’t want to carry it through the woods a long distance, but it’s great for an extra bed in a house, having a bed at a friend’s house, or car camping. it fits into the carry bag no problem and the bag has a really nice carry strap.
It does move up and down when you get on/off, especially at first, but not in a way that’s problematic. It’s very sturdy. I’m a larger person (~235 lbs) and have no issues.
It also does make noise when you move around on it (which is why I dropped it to 4 stars). i was sleeping on it sharing a room with someone and i felt bad about that. Luckily, they were a sound sleeper, so they didn’t hear it once they were asleep. It also didn’t make enough noise to wake me up when I was sleeping.

I bought this a while ago and still use it at home as a temporary bed. slept on this for 4 months straight at one point before I went back to a real mattress again. And I still think it was the best nights of sleep in my life. Highly recommend this because of how portable, comfy, and strong it held up even after some years

Itโs kinda heavy but so easy to set up. Itโs substantial, my legs could dangle when seated all the way to the back of my knees. It fit perfectly folded up in the back of my 2016 Mini countryman. Thatโs a win! Tent camping took a step up. The feet are designed to not tear up your tent floor.

ย Surprisingly comfortable and BIG! I was truly on the fence between this, a padded mattress (Woods) which I had purchased last year and returned, and something like an Exped Megamat.
This is a very solid cot and those who are concerned about the legs collapsing need not to worry. Unless you’re moving it around for who knows what reason, it will stay put even if you shuffle around on it.
The cot without a pad is quit comfortable and I can see myself using it sleeping on my side no problem.
The attachable table/drink holder is also very solid and mine doesn’t droop like in some photos. If yours does, you can use some vice grips and bend the metal to be tighter on the frame.
I purchased the Coleman sleeping pad, which does add a great deal of comfort to it. I’m looking forward to camping with it, seriously.
It’s high off the ground (18 inches give or take) and you can probably store all your gear in your tent under there.
No bars to dig into you. You’re not on the ground, you have the space and it collapses into a reasonable size bag. Not small but not gigantic.
Highly recommend for “glamping” as some may call it. Get a pad for added comfort, but if not, it’s definitely comfortable enough, but won’t compare to a bed that’s for sure.
Is this large enough for a couple? Definitely not. You’re looking at a double mattress for that, unless you guys don’t like moving around at night and want to be touching the sides of this. I will have to opt for a doubke mat for my gf, but as a solo camper, this is just awesome. I don’t like to sleep on the ground or near the ground. That’s just me.
Enjoy!

I used this while camping for a week, and it was perfect! I was worried about sleeping anywhere other than a bed due to issues with my back, but this cot exceeded my expectations. I paired it with a thin cot pad from Amazon for some added comfort and it was very comfortable. It was very easy and convenient to set up. My husband bought a Cabelas brand cot, and this Coleman cot was much easier to set up and it was more comfortable. I would highly recommend purchasing if you need a cot. In the past, we have always used an air mattress, but the cot was a much better choice.

Fast to assemble and put away! (Approximately 1 minute to set up and 2 minutes to put away in bag). My 6 year old can independently assemble it at the camp site. Heavier than anticipated but perfect for car camping or we used it in a camper so we didnโt have to keep turning the kitchen table into a bed every day! There are no โfinickyโ parts to assemble as it is one piece (plus the side table which we havenโt used). Thermarest mondo king mattress fits perfectly on it. Enough room underneath to store two Rubbermaid 68L containers and a 40L water jug (or backpack etc).

There are a lot of picky reviews on cots so let me start by saying, this is a cot. Itโs not a padded cot but rather a frame with canvas. So when I give it 5 stars itโs not because itโs as comfortable as a bed mattress…come on folks. Stay at home if that what you want.
On with the review, as with any non insulated cot I used a sleeping pad. My pad is the same pad I hike with, a BA Qcore SLX with a fairly high R value (keeps you warm in snow). I would say with any canvas cot that if you want it to be โperfectโ then you need your preference sleeping pad. That being said, I slept like a baby. The pad on the ground isnโt terrible which is why I bought it. But on the cot with a bit of air let out I seriously was quite comfortable. And warm. The cot is not overly stiff as was my buddyโs that came along (his was the generic cot sold on Amazon as well). With the combined give of the canvas and the nice pad I really had a great nights sleep.
As people have said the legs donโt lock in. The pressure of your weight keeps everything in place. This was never a worry as it is quite sturdy. Where you encounter any leg issues is if you start moving/relocating the cot around. The cot basically starts to fold up like you are putting it away. I did not find this to be an issue after I did it once. And there is no worry when on it.
It sets up very easy and equally easy closes up for rebagging. It is heavy, so for the odd person who thinks this is a hike-in cot it isnโt. But it wasnโt intended to be. Itโs for car camping. I also like that it easily goes into the storage bag. Hate bags that โjust fitโ and itโs a struggle to get back in. This one is easy. Lastly the little add on table is nice. I didnโt really use mine sine my tent has pockets in each corner that were right where they needed to be in relation to the height itโll of the cot (bonus), but I could see it being useful. Frankly I could care less about the table though so I wonโt really say anything here other than it attaches firmly and seemed as though it would be useful.

My husband is 5โ11โ and fits this very comfortably. This is cot is built sturdy and is long. He loves the placement of the bars so it isnโt across the head or feet. This was super easy to use, it honestly took less than 1 minute to open and set up, and less than 1 minute to put back in the provided bag.

This is a heavy old school cot but just what I needed! I use a thick Thermarest with firmish pressure on top and all is good. Heavy, only for car camping, but you know that already. Reminder: when folding it up, pull the folds of the fabric away from the strut hinges. The fabric can get caught between the folding braces and wear or tear.
