El concepto esta genial, pero la realidad fue muy desilusionaste. Las patas son muy frágiles.
VinVanGo –
Not flimsy… solid, easy to use!
Brian –
The plastic cracked in two places the first time I used it. Absolute garbage.

Coleman’s products are generally reliable, however this product failed within 6 months as one of the plastic leg holders cracked and the leg collapsed resulting in a tilted cot. Otherwise the kids loved helping to set it up for dance conventions instead of an air mattress in hotels. Disappointed, will upgrade. It was light enough for kids to carry.

Bought it on sale so it was worth the sale price. I’m not sure if I’d pay full price for it. Even so, it’s surprisingly nice and study.
There is slight sag when items are on top because of the way top folds and only stiffen by two bars and legs spreading those bars apart.
Legs feel solid for being hollow tubes. Haven’t tested the cup holders on the side hubs yet though.
Table with carrying case just came in brown Amazon box with no packaging. Only instructions are images printed on carrying bag. Fairly self explanatory and took less than 5mins to assemble first time. Took it down in less than two minutes and packed away once I knew how to assemble it.
Weight was unexpected, but not overly heavy. Pros and cons to that.
Oswaldo –
Como todo lo Coleman! Muy práctica y de buena calidad!

Definitely for car camping only..HEAVY, but Great Quality

This thing is so clever. The instructions were missing for assembly however after a while of trial and error I figured it out. Whoever put this together designed some really clever features. The fold out cup holder hubs excellent. The tension before you assemble the rods it’s very clever. Unfortunately that’s what stumped me as far as assembly because I thought I ordered a tall table and it’s very wide until you figure out that you have to pull it together.

There is a saying in most areas of consumer-dom. Cheap, light, strong. Pick 2. Coleman has managed to fit “compact” into this equation with this cot. Which, frankly, is where it shines. This is the cot(s) you get when space is at a premium, weight be darned. Because of the construction design, the compactness of the legs and the angles they work at dictated a rather thick-walled steel tubing.
So, needless to say, if you’re looking for a backpacking cot (if there is such a thing), this definitely is not it.
Assembly is confusing at first with the maze of poles but you get it figured out pretty quickly. Comfort is, well…cot like. Better than the ground, not quite as comfy as an air mattress.
Something to note – this has feet. This makes it a difficult prospect for tent camping if the ground happens to be soft. Imagine your body weight focused into about 10 square inches. So if you take this tent camping, be mindful of the ground conditions. If you’re on solid, dry, hard ground, no problem. If you’re on grass on, say, regular semi-moist top soil? You will want to figure out a way to spread the footprint out for each leg, or you may suffer damage to the floor of your tent. Best to take this into account before you ruin an expensive tent.
What would make this a whole lot better? I can think of 2 things. 1: an all-carbon fiber tubing version. I bet they could get this under 10 lbs with all carbon fiber tubing. This would make it lighter, keeping it’s compactness, and couldn’t hurt the strength rating any. 2: They could include larger feet pads for this type of design. I would increase the ground contact area by at least a factor of FOUR. More would be better.
Being serious, an all-carbon version of this with big feet? Sells a lot of units. I’d get one. This one suits a bit of a niche market, the space-conscious only crowd that never sleeps on soft ground and never intends to carry this anywhere. For those select few, I recommend this cot. For all others, I recommend expanding your search.
