I am building a PC and was looking at a test bench for spare parts and tinkering when I came across this. I returned my case and bought this instead. Itโs actually pretty amazing. My only โconโ would be there is no instructions. There is a picture โmenuโ attached the the glass. The thing I like about the instructions is a lot of cases have the book with all compatible fans, rads, cards, mobos… etc and show pictures of how they fit. I understand a โtest benchโ fits just about everything but my 140 fans donโt seem to line up anywhere. So…

This is a great PC case! It is more flexible than a Thermaltake P3 which is limited to what you can do unless you mod it to oblivion. Which is where I am coming from.
Cable management on this CM MF700 is a daunting task but do able. My biggest gripe isn’t the case but the price. $200 is a bit much considering, it doesn’t come with a GPU vertical mounting bracket.
Not only do you have to pay $200 for the case but cough up another 60-90 bucks more for a gpu mounting bracket. It’s a bit absurd Cooler Master.
For anyone interested in the case. Either wait until price comes down or they include a GPU vertical bracket in which they advertised but does not include.
Edit 1: Quality of vertical gpu bracket is so-so. Quality of Riser cable is a 50/50. It died on me in 3 days. Tried RMA process and CM has yet to email me. It’s been 3 weeks. (What a joke) So I had to pay more for one on amazon. Also bracket is too close to the riser cable so the bracket is being pushed outward and there is some slight gph sag. Whoever didn’t thoroughly test vertical bracket and riser cable with gpu. Slap yourself.
Edit 1: Watercoo and using hardline tubing increases footprint (you need lots of desk space)

Not in for a permanent hanging open air side window crap thing but it’s probably the best test bench you can buy, it’s perfect! Alot of room to place permanent cooling solution if needed, I have a couple other test bench at home and this is by far my favorite. Yes It’s heavy!!! But I prefer heavy than cheap. Who cares cause when it’s in test bench form it’s the best looking test bench and I love it, you can setup dual 360 rad and thick ones!! the bracket will hold horizontally mid air no problem I tested filled! or you can just lean them on the side like typical bench flaps.. Top notch quality and alot of effort was put into it, great pay emplacement and accessibility… Cooler Master big thumbs up, will buy your next test bench in the future 10/10

An amazing creative design, made me love my PC more.
Protip: the glass traps the heat in, so I’d use without it

I bought this case to use as a test bench, but from the very start, either the screws were machined wrong, or the wholes on the case were, because when I attempted to simply attach the left or right wing to this case, I was unable to do so, the screws wouldn’t grab. I watched all the build tutorials, followed all instructions to a T and thought “Wow I must be stupid if I can’t put this together.” and that’s not the case at all. This case is very poorly put together. Please heed the warnings of the 10% of negative reviews on this case, and save yourself the hassle. This case is a joke, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my enemy. Now I’m behind on work because I banked on a company that has a generally good reputation in my industry…and I’ll be returning this terrible product today.

This case can serve as a test bench for those of us who are always switching out GPU’s and have OC Motherboards that have to be messed with a lot. It is EXTREMELY well built. It also allows for a more classic vertical glass enclosed case. This is the best PC Enthusiast case, period. Well worth a couple hundred bucks when a flimsy POS case costs over 100. Do NOT waste your money on a cheap case when your going to build a 5,000 computer on top or in it.

Very sturdy and well built.love the test bench config..
Instructions are a bit lacking there is a map of some sorts for you to follow but other than that it’s pretty straightforward. Lots of different customizable configurations.

Awesome concept tho itโs a little tricky to mount everything when utilizing the wall mount feature as itโs been mentioned a few times for mounting the psu on a wing but restricts airflow for water cooling I simply used some extra shims from the vesa mount kit to space the psu away from the panel a bit to allow proper airflow. And the instructions are mediocre at best. But all in all a great buy for the buck would be nice if they would include the vertical gpu mount but not a deal breaker

PROS:
– Radiators breathe freely: though the “grate/grill pattern” is, uh, not very efficient technically. It should have just been a square hole cut out IMO. Regardless, This is why *I* bought this case personally. There is no hot air coming into or out of a closed air case through radiators. I like this a lot. I don’t care that it’s a very minimal impact. It just feels better to me. Though that means there is no airflow over the Motherboard components like VRM, Chipsets, or SSD… but that’s not a problem for me so far.
– It is very unique and has a commanding presence. With water-cooling it looks like a mad science experiment.
– Very easy to work on. Everything is right there. You can see in the photo I’m fixing a water pump, and it’s much easier than a closed case because any water that drips… well just hits the table.
CONS:
– It’s HEAVY with watercooling. Watercooling often adds a lot of weight, but this bad boy is STEEL and
LARGE. I HATE moving this thing with a passion, because it’s cumbersome, heavy, and the only way to hold it is thin steel sections which hurt your fingers. DO NOT GET THIS if you need to move this PC frequently. DON’T DO IT.
– It’s open air… so expect DUST. If you put it in “bench” mode, there is slightly less dust coming down on it if you put the glass over it…. but it will still be there from air flow. I didn’t clean out the dust to give you an idea of what 6 months may look like.
– Takes up A LOT of space. This thing will require an entire side of your desk. Sure you could maybe wall mount it… but it’s HEAVY and at that point.
– NO vertical GPU mount. Really? For $200 I couldn’t just get a little piece of stamped steel that lets me mount the GPU vertically like all the cool kids?
– Terrible access to motherboard IO. Especially for video cards if the sides are angled in. Just look at the photo of that GPU. Yeah, gross.
NEUTRAL:
– Cable management is simply up to your ability. I personally don’t care as long as it’s not in the way. I want performance and ease of repair/access to components.
First off, this is not obviously not your traditional “case”. In fact it’s not really a “case” because it’s hardly more than some nicely put together stamped/CNC cut painted STEEL with hinges and a glass panel. It’s hard to put it up against any other of your typical cases in any way. That being said, it’s wildly silly and impractical for most users. Please look up Gamer’s Nexus review on youtube. It’s just not really a product for MOST people…
But I’m not most people. You may like this if you’re looking for similar reasons I wanted it. I had a bunch of water cooling equipment, I’ve always wanted to try an open-air solution, and I only care about performance and ease-of-use.
1 Year of use:
After about a year, I would say I don’t regret buying it. Dust isn’t much worse than a case without a good filter. In fact, you can just so easily dust this guy out while it just sits on your desk, because, well, it’s open to you. But like I said, moving this sucks so much. I hate moving it to another room for various reasons… but you may rarely need to move a computer anyway, so not a big deal.
IO sucks. I use usb extension or hubs, but when I have to go back there, yeah, it’s garbage. The USB cables often just hang over the top of the case unless they are super long, since going around the thing is like walking around a mountain. If the PC is on your right, it’s less awful, but if you put it on the left of your desk, yeah, gross. And the top IO panel is just that. A TOP panel. So the cables just jut out from the top. But I don’t’ care about aesthetics that much.
The hinges have only slightly loosened up since I first tightened them. I don’t know how long they’d hold up if it was in bench mode and they were angled up… but they seem pretty strong.

Je recommande des cรขbles PSU sur mesure comme je vais me faire car des cรขbles normal sont trop long.
Recommande ร 100%!

The instructions are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. But once you get it assembled the way you want it, this thing is fantastic. It’s built extremely well too. Solid as a rock.
Luis Monsalve –
Cuesta un poco armarlo, recomiendo usar tornillos diferentes a los del manual en las bisagras para evitar inconvenientes, los grandes que son bastantes que incluye el case sirven mejor

muy buen producto y el servicio de lo mejor
