Mikayla –
Good trimmers, Sharp blades.
Douglas –
They are extremely comfortable and feel good in my hand. It’s good quality construction and was recommended to me by a professional gardener.
C. B. Manges –
These look very much like those fancy Swiss pruners but these are a fraction of the price and more than good enough for the home gardener who does minor pruning a few times a year. They hold an edge better than the cheapies, and are hard enough to take several sharpenings. Take care to clean sap from edges when finished each time, and they’ll hold up well. I got these for kids who’ve moved off into their own homes, and the only problem they have is being overly ambitious. Don’t try to cut larger branches–you’ll just ruin the blade. Otherwise, buy with confidence. I’m thinking of getting another pair for my wife, who is a prototypical “hard on equipment” person and is just as likely to snap a blade on a 1″ branch as she is to use the proper tool for the job, and has forced me to hide my Felcos.
JLJ –
Very, very sharp, while the locking mechanism is difficult to engage. Thus the danger of cutting yourself is real and I did it.
The “spring” to keep the jaws open will come loose if hit, but this has happened only once so far.
All in all this is a highly effective pruner – the best I have ever owned – but you must be careful using it.

Love these pruning shears. They last many years and have replaceable parts and can also be resharpened. We bought a bunch more for workshops on our farm
