The power supply is easy to install and the cables have a clean look to them if you don’t want to spend the extra money on custom cables.

You also have a bunch of RGB options and no software is required, it is just a simple push of a button!

10/10, works perfectly out of the box, easy to setup and very easy to do cable management thanks to being a fully modular PSU, the white one is georgeous, RGB is amazing and comes with all the little adapters (obviously not the hub) you need to control it with your MoBo.

I got this PSU because of the Corsair name. There dependable and have trustworthy power. I built a older Dell computer, and if you know anything about Dell computers they have a proprietary PSU. I needed more wattage because I put in a graphics card and it required minimum 400 watts. The Corsair is dedicated to my new graphics card. After a lot of research I decided to just have the PSU external. Also purchased a module so when the desktop was started up, both psu’s will start at the same time (very important). Working great, no problems with my graphics card getting too hot because of a lack of power!

I have trusted Corsair with two of the most important parts of my computer, the RAM and the PSU. This power supply continues that tradition for now – there are other reviews that gave me pause… some mentioning failure after 6 months, some mentioning burnouts. I suspect that those folks may have placed their PSU with the fan facing downwards, or reused other cables from other manufacturers that may fit but had different pinouts.

We shall see. On the first attempt to purchase this PSU, I received someone else’s scavenged returns (2nd photo) but the second order was a new PSU, sealed in box… let’s hope the stress and returns were worth it. So far, so good – no more BSOD when gaming!

Good value for a fully modular PSU. The color LED was gimmicky but my son loves it. Super quiet and meets the quality of the Corsair brand.

When you are building a PC, there are two parts that never want to be cheap about: the power supply, and the memory. A cheap power supply can set your tower and house on fire.

Luckily for you, there are Corsair and EVGA: the two best power supply brands on the market. Use an online PC power supply calculator to figure out the total wattage of your PC and buy a power supply that is appropriate. Look for a gold star rating or higher if you can afford it. I always go with a fully modular unit because this will make your cable management a lot easier.

The RGB lighting of the Corsair CX550F RGB looks great in my rig, and the built-in cooling fan is very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone who is building or repairing a PC.

For those of you shopping the market for a PSU for a PC, DO NOT cheap out on a power supply. Get one that’s from a reputable brand and, ideally, is more watts than you need to leave room for improvements for other parts in your system. A good PSU should last you many, many years. That being said, this is a great PSU.
It came with all required parts and components, it was easy to install, and it runs pretty quiet. I did spend $100 on it, but I have no doubt it will likely outlive most other parts in my system. Chances that this PSU will malfunction are extraordinarily low. The RGB looks good, but to be honest, I don’t care that much about RGB, look for other reviews if you want to know how good it is.
In the end, this is an excellent power supply that I can highly recommend for gaming PC’s.

Downgraded from a white RM850x which failed after about a half hour before I could get the OS installed. The CX750F was easier to install, the cables connected to the power terminals with less force and the installation was easier overall. It has been working great for a couple weeks now. I have it mounted in a Lian Li LANCOOL 205 white mid-tower ATX case and it fits perfectly. The modular cables run easily through the cable management routing ports in the Lian Li case and are long enough to connect end to end without leaving excessive slack. The RGB fan is mounted facing down and lights up the floor underneath. Very cool at night. I have this powering an ASUS Prime X570-PRO with a Ryzen 7 5800X, a pair of NVMe drives and an EVGA GTX 1080 graphics card. I have yet to hear the CX750F fan make any noise at all.
