I finally got this today after it being on a bit of a delay and let me say wow, this thing is nice! Really nice rubber backing that stays where you put it, perfect size and the led’s really look nice, not gaudy as I was worried about (but I guess that is a personal taste thing). The main point here is the mousing surface is smooth as silk on my Logitech G602 wireless, which I was worried about coming from a cloth gaming surface for many years I can say I instantly adapted to this surface. However, when I tried the G502 wired mouse I also have on my desk (just because) I noticed it was draggy and rough moving over this surface, like sandpaper. Something to do with the base of the 502 vs the 602. So if you are using a Logitech G502 you MAY hate this surface with it. However I notice no roughness at all with my G602 wireless mouse, smooth as silk literally. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

I really likes the looks & lighting of HP OMEN Mouse Pad with 5 Watts Built-in Qi Wireless Charging. Omen mouse pad is bit costly.
I really Corsair products. Only problem is that Corsair does not makes mouse like G502 x plus and Basilisk Ultimate.

Nice and thin. Slick surface. RGB lighting is sufficiently bright and the separate zones around the pad mean nice lighting effects. I wanted a hard surface pad with a rigid build and this fit the bill nicely. Cyber Monday sale basically made it a no-brainer. Using up a USB slot for a mousepad is kind of ludicrous, but I can’t argue with how it looks. Colors are very vibrant, with smooth transitions. This is probably the best RGB mousepad out there.
Tracking is very precise with my optical and laser mice. All 3 of my mice, Logitech G900, G700s, and CM MM520 all feel like they are on ice on this pad. Smooth movement with zero drag is a good improvement over my Roccat Taito Control. I understand the utility of cloth pads, and the control they offer, but for some reason I am more accurate and have better reaction on hard surfaces. In addition to the good sensors in my mice, this surface gives uncompromising 1:1 tracking. Performance-wise this pad is right where it needs to be.
Time will tell how well it holds up to wear and tear. I imagine the surface will eventually grow dull with wear patterns. I’m really more interested to see how the lighting and construction on the edges holds up to constant pressure from my wrist. Avoided the MM800C because the construction means it would be very difficult to clean the cloth surface without ruining it. Also, being an expensive, powered pad, means that I want this to last a few years. The second the cloth starts getting snags or peeling up, the MM800C becomes junk. Hopefully this regular MM800 will last me a few years of constant use.

Let’s be real, this is a glorified RGB mouse pad but a beautiful and sleek one at that. It’s spacious and the hard surface material feels like quality. It looks much better in person once it’s actually plugged in. The surface is ever so slightly textured but allows for your mouse to glide all over it. The USB pass-through is a nice edition so you’re not really losing a USB port on your PC. The RBG lighting effects are controlled by Corsair’s iCUE software and has various different lighting profiles you can set, although if you forgo the software the mouse pad defaults to a rainbow RGB pattern that goes clockwise. You can also update the device through the software but unfortunately you cannot adjust the brightness of the LED’s at all so keep that in mind. The software is decent when it works but is sometimes buggy so just be aware of that if you choose to download it (I did not factor the software into my review as the mouse pad works the moment you plug it in and ultimately it is not necessary to use). The only real downside of this mouse pad is the price. Now at a retail price of $59.99 it’s simply not worth the money in my opinion. I purchased this on sale for $39.99 and even then I have a hard time justifying the price. If it was 10 dollars cheaper I think that would be a much more reasonable price and would then definitely recommend this product. However, if you live the RGB life or just want to pimp out your PC setup, you won’t be disappointed in this purchase.

I got this as part of a combo package with my K95 Platinum keyboard. I wasn’t expecting a hard top mousepad and was leery at first when I unpacked it. As someone who has used various cloth topped pads all their life, from cheap office depot throw arounds to top end ‘gaming’ pads, I wasn’t sure about a hard top pad, let alone a textured hard top. I will have to say it grew on me FAST. It feels so clean and snappy. Mouse (Scimitar Pro) glides effortlessly across it and my mouse precision has definitely gone up. Going back to my old Gigabyte Ghost pad, it just feels meh and nasty vs a hard top pad now. Kind of like going from a Mechanical keyboard to a membrane one.
The RBG is bright and vivid with multiple zones to edit. Also syncs lighting effects with my K95 Platinum and Scimitar Pro via iCue.My only real complaint is the USB passthrough hub being way to high. If you are someone who uses or needs the full landscape of the pad to operate your mouse, it WILL impede its motion with wire snagging. Use a wireless mouse or like me, high DPI so I don’t use much travel in motions.
Overall very satisfied with the pad. I don’t think I could ever go back to a cloth based pad every again!

I have always loved corsair products. Generally speaking they are very high quality and have great longevity. This product in particular is a great example of corsair quality. The mouse mat has a nice smooth texture with a foamy fabric underneath to help with surface grip. My corsair scimitar mouse glides effortlessly across the surface of this mouse mat. The RGB effects as with all corsair products are top notch. The lighting has no flaws and looks very appealing to the eye.
