I’ve had this for a couple weeks now and so far it ticks all the boxes.
14-cup capacity realistically means seven or so normal coffee mugs but that’s perfect.
The included gold mesh filter works great; a little bit of particulate matter gets through but it’s so fine I never notice it when drinking.
The controls are easy to figure out without the manual and easy to use.
The carafe isn’t prone to dripping when pouring, and the drip valve isn’t prone to dripping onto the warning plate when the carafe is pulled out.
My only quibble, and this applies to every coffee maker I’ve ever seen, is that the warning plate is not stainless steel and will probably corrode to uselessness over a year or two. We shall see…

My Mr. Coffee died after 24 years of faithful service. This replacement makes great coffee. My favorite feature is the beep to let you know when brewing has finished. Other fun options include programable warming times (1-3 hours) and temps. The only thing I don’t like is that it takes cone filters where my Mr. Coffee took the standard ones. (I have a supply of the standard.) But I’m making them work until they run out. This looks nice on my counter and fits in the place I needed it to. Oh, also! My Mr. Coffee pot would dribble down the side when pouring from the carafe, unless you raised the lid slightly. This one is constructed in such a way that’s not necessary. Second favorite thing about this one!!

Itโs hard to find a 14 cup pot. I know that it really means 14 little cups but still. My husband and I are caffeine addicts and always like a big pot. All the prior ones weโve had leaked and made terrible coffee. None of the bells and whistles ever seemed to work well. Not the case here. Itโs very easy to work and set to make the coffee in the morning. Didnโt really need the manual. All the parts were there and looked clean and new, that hasnโt always been the case with other pots weโve purchased. It makes a good hot cup of coffee. I use a lot of cream so the hot part is important to me. Itโs seems pretty sturdy and Iโm hoping will last for quite a while. We seem to burn through them so stay tuned.

I returned 2 expensive machines as they both leaked. The temperature of the coffee was not hot enough. Based on reviews I figured I would give this one a try. Best decision. This machine does not leak. Coffee temperature is hot. Very simple machine that brews a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend this machine plus you save some money.

The machine works fine and does what you’d expect from a budget priced coffee maker. However the carafe is unacceptable. The plastic handle was very loosely attached to the glass and the first time I tried to make coffee the handle fell off spilling hot coffee all over my counter. Whats the point of a large capacity 14 cup coffee maker if the handle falls apart under the weight of 14 cups of water? The design of the handle is the same as my old Mr Coffee brand which had a solid handle that worked for years but this one is just made badly, poor quality control at the manufacturer. Also, when I hold it up to the light I can see air bubbles inside the glass and feel rough spots on the surface of the glass which will make the glass weak, even if the handle stayed on I’d be worried the glass would shatter one day.

The carafe leaks water when you pour the water in no matter how tight you try and hold the lid on, which is hinged. It’s a hinged lid…poor design. I wipe up around a teaspoon of water when filling the reservoir, sometimes a little less if you push down really hard on it. In other words, it doesn’t lock down, so if you don’t hold it down water would go everywhere. Fire that design person…
Otherwise, it’s high quality, and makes great coffee. I’m still using it…that should say something…

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this coffee maker! It’s not a well known brand. Looks similar to the Cuisinart that we replaced & has all of the same features. When it makes a hot pot of coffee, it’s a HOT pot of coffee!!
I was a little hesitant because this one didn’t have that many reviews. But every one seemed positive & I’m really glad I got this one!
I am a HUGE coffee nut & I take my coffee very seriously… this coffee maker did not disappoint me!
If you have to replace a coffee maker that programs, buy this one, you’ll be as surprised as I was!
