Accurate and performs as expected.

Fun to plink when you only need to pump it once or twice. Its a very plastic rifle that feels flimsy and is difficult to pump. the BB magazine is a pain in the rear (I had a daisy 880 as a kid and you could pour in 500 BBs and shoot forever – this one requires you to pull back a pin that never stays back and do a weird dance with the rifle to load the magazine from the BB storage in the rifle). the scope is worthless even after trying to adjust it – just doesn’t stay put. Best to take it off and teach them how to shoot on iron sights.

First, This thing is NOT a toy. It has enough power to kill. Perfect for hunting small game or even pest control.
Scope was bent just a few millimeters when I got it, but this air rifle aims true when using the sight, even with standard bbs.
Just decided to trash the scope in favor of a better one anyway.

build quality feels nice but it came broken, the bolt was unreasonably difficult to prime to the point where the handle was bending and would only prime half of the time, called Crosman they told me to just get a replacement. got a second one and it was even worse the bolt handle was entirely stuck and wouldn’t move at all. these things are glorified paperweights and are garbage.

Accurate shot out of box, bonus for the scope but it’s cheap and won’t be as accurate or useful as the guns sights itself unless you put money into a nicer scope, at that point you might as well invest in an actual gun like a .22 which is about the same weight and quietness, except real bullets and more power. This Crosman with using lead pellets will blow a quarter sized hole in a trees bark with 4 pumps, max pumps is 11 before you start ruining or blowing out the seals needed for pressure buildup. This isn’t a dinky “bb gun”, it’s a powerful pellet gun, this is not for air soft or play. It should be treated as a dangerous weapon as this will actually put a hole in someone and cause death. It is a bit long for a kid, but not too heavy, I’d say this is a next step up from a daisy pump action.

It was cheap. It’s fast. Once sighted in it is pretty accurate. You do have to pump it a few times to charge it, so it’s not exactly the silent stalker but a little cushion under the forestock quiets it down a lot.
It fires .177 cal BBs and Pellets too. Comes with a scope. I’m using it with the “truglow”style iron sights.
Very much worth the $50

The rifle was delivered on time. Other reviewers have stated that it was hard to pull the bolt back but I’ve had no trouble. The scope is nice once sited in. Make sure you have something to hold the rifle steady and tight when siting it in. Of course the rifle is made mostly of plastic for the price but it does feel solid. I wouldn’t hold the stock when pumping it up it may break. I can’t make any statements about BBs as I’ve only fired pellets from mine. I bought this rifle for varmint and snake control.

I got this to handle a rodent problem and ended up using it for some fun target shooting. Shoots great, excellent value.
