I used to be in a profession where I wrote a lot of reports. I used Cross pens almost exclusively back then. The last few decades I have gotten away from Cross and started using those free promotional pens. The free pens would work fine for the first couple of weeks then the ink starts to dry out at the ball point tip. One would need a scratch pad nearby to scribble the free pen to get the ink flowing again. Some free pens wrote smoother and cleaner than others. I guess when pens are free, one takes what one can get.
I decided to treat myself to another Cross pen. No regrets. I enjoy writing again. It works first time, every time. Plus, it writes so smooth and clean. I forgot how good this pen really is. Caveat – if you are the type of person who loses pens a lot, you may want to think twice about investing this kind of money into a quality pen. For the rest of us, get one. You will not regret it.
PS I’m thinking about going back to Cross and trying out the new ATX model. It has a fatter barrel than the Classic model. Sometimes it’s more comfortable to hold onto something with more substance.

Oh boy! Oh boy! Where do I begin? Growing up I watched my late, beloved father used a gold-plated cross ballpoint pen and always loved it due to its beauty and elegance. It lasted forever; unfortunately, I’m far away here in USA from Nigeria for the past 20+ years; I know it’s somewhere in our house; I think my dad bought his in the late 60’s. For some unexplained reasons, Cross pen “crossed” my mind this past Sunday and I ordered this chrome/gold one for a trial and received it today, 05/23/24, and boy, ol boy, I got it in my hand and I felt tears coming down my eyes and it felt the same way it felt back in the 70’s when I would bring it to my late dad to write with in his beautiful old-styled calligraphy. My wife couldn’t understand my excitement and tears. Next month I will be ordering the all gold customized (my name) one.

Devotee of Cross ballpoint pens. This seller shipped timely and product was genuine. Had previously purchased elsewhere, but product was no longer available thru my source.

I love Cross Classic Century pens. I love anodized blue metal. So here we are. Writes smoothly and without extra ink spilling out. Twists smoothly. But it shows fingerprints from the oils in your skin like a champ.

Bought this Cross Pen for my grandson’s college graduation gift. I had his name and 2024 engraved on it at a local engraving shop. He loves it.

I had a cross pen a long time ago, my parents bought me one for school, I used it until the chrome wore off.
It went missing & I always wanted to replace it.
These write so clean, no ink globs, smooth, just lovely to use.

I don’t like bulky pens. This one is nice and small. Borderline micro-pen size. Fits in your pocket well. Ink cartridges are easy to change.
