I’ve had this Cuisinart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven for about 8 months and I love almost everything about it! I use it daily for so many things. Clean up is pretty easy. I opted to put a small silicone mat on the baking/drip tray that goes under the air fryer basket and that helps a lot to avoid the need to scrub the baking/drip tray too often. I also put a piece of parchment paper on the air fryer basket under the food to help avoid messes even more. The parchment doesn’t seem to affect the crispness of my air fried items though I suppose it must block the air flow reaching the bottom of the food a little. I have two complaints about this appliance. It’s very difficult to change the clock and I have to resort to dragging out the manual to do it. And it doesn’t really do very well at making toast. Go figure! I think the design has the heating elements too far from the bread. This causes the bread to dry out to a very crunchy state by the time you get much color on it. However, I love everything else about it and am still rating it a 5 star. I’m just learning to eat toast that doesn’t look like toast. It still tastes good and I suppose that’s what matters.

Like others have described, we spent countless wasted time trying to reset the timer or enter cooking instructions for what should have been very simple tasks. I would never recommend the frustration we had with this machine to anyone.

Got it out of the box and plugged it in. Put a bagel in at it’s default setting for 3-4 bagels, came out near perfect. Fan continuously runs after completion for cool down. ( If you read the instructions.) Baking and pizza have a pre-heat phase. Interesting and quite useful. Then the countdown to completion starts. Pizza came out perfect! Takes the guess work out of the oven. Make sure to invert the rack for frozen pizza.🍕 I would recommend this air fryer toaster. Cannot wait to try dehydrating for beef jerky.

If this actually functioned, utilizing the one knob or the touchscreen buttons, this would be my absolutely favorite and most used kitchen appliance. However, when our older model broke, and we purchased this version, Little did we know what a grave mistake that was. I wish I could take back the hours of my life I have given to this thing fighting with the knob to work. Do not waste your money on this, an opt for the older version twisting knobs.

As is witnessed by other reviews, it is amazing that Cuisinart hasn’t written a personal apology to everyone who purchased this appliance and promised never to give an 8 year old the responsibility to design a control system. You’d think they have never done this before.
Honestly, an inferior device would be far superior simply because of fire hazard with the existing.
