Me encanta, ya la uso mas que la de estufa. El contenedor es de acero inox sin plásticos, el sistema es muy fácil de usar y sirve para preparar una taza de te de bolsita o de filtro y cafe con dripper o instantáneo. Mi recibo de luz no ha subido desde que la uso y la uso diario y varias veces por día.
Dos pequeñas desventajas si yo la activo estando casi vacía se activa, y los grados solo los marca Fahrenheit.
Considero que hay dos detalles a tomar en cuenta, tiene un sonido beep que suena por todo, cuando aprietas un botón, cuando empieza, cuando acaba… a mi no me molesta y hasta me ayuda pero hay a quien puede molestarle porque no se puede desactivar, la otra cosa es siempre que hay que desactivar el botón de mantener a temperatura, de lo contrario seguirá encendiéndose y apagándose no se hasta cuando (porque como mencioné antes la mia no se apaga ni cuando esta casi vacía)

After 6+ months, this seems to suit our tea making needs quite well: The gooseneck design is attractive w/ a small footprint, H2O boils quickly and kettle emits single loud beep when it hits 212 (you can also set it for a lower temp) and maintains for at least 10-15 minutes). If you forget to lift and pour, there will be a series of loud warning beeps and it will turn off before H2O is evaporated. Very minor hassle: on-off switch requires a strong finger. This is worth the $ if you want a long-lasting, sturdy and aesthetically-pleasing kettle- but wouldn’t buy for your kid’s dorm room, etc….

Looks very nice and takes up a small amount of space on the countertop. Heats water as fast or faster than stovetop. If I could change anything, I would allow for longer periods of time to keep the water hot. I use the pot primarily for pour over coffee and make several cups each morning. It would be nice for the pot to keep water hot for 2 or more hours w/o restarting it. Minor inconvenience.

Bells and whistles and digital electronics go bad — I had my last Cuisinart kettle for 2 plus years — used multiple times almost daily and the auto shutoff stopped working. I wanted a Cuisinart again but didn’t want to pay for stuff I never used — like multiple heating options. So I went for the basic kettle. Just what I wanted — and works well, and if anything heats faster than the old one did. But that MAY be because it was older and tired.

I love this kettle and would happily buy another, save one ridiculous engineering flaw: its beep alert. This thing beeps when you start it, again when it actually starts, then 3 times when it reaches temperature, and finally once again when it times-out and automatically turns off. Although, I don’t really find those beeps informative, sure, someone else might. So, ok. That’s fine. However, here is where my understanding stops and where it seems the Cuisinart engineer just said “oh well, screw it. Let’s just source the cheapest, loudest, dumbest sounding, and most shrill beeper that can be sourced”. Not only is it just loud and shrill and annoying (think small dump truck backing up) in our small household where I get up earlier than anyone else and make coffee, it literally wakes up my wife. Cuisinart, if you’re listening, you’ve got a beautifully designed and engineered product, but look around at the other appliances and the soft—and actually pretty-sounding— piezoelectric chimes that most manufacturers started implementing quite a few years back. It would make this the perfect kettle.

UPDATE: 5/26/22:
I hate this thing.
I started getting more into home pour-over recently. I was using my girlfriend’s basic Hario V60 “Buono” Drip Kettle Electric Gooseneck, but I wanted something with more capacity and with a temperature display and hold feature.
So, I looked around a lot. I didn’t want to spend more than $100. I see this one is regularly $99, but Amazon has it on discount for $73. After reading mostly positive reviews, I go for it.
I wish I hadn’t. It’s kind of really annoying to use in the morning. You just need to pay attention so much for a simple pour.
First off, if you fill the water over the line by 1 friggin’ micron you’re going to have spill out of the top of the kettle all over, burning yourself. Guess where they put the line markings? On the handle side… The side that faces away from you as you fill it….
To make matters worse, the neck is very vertical on this kettle. You really need to tilt it to pour, so it’s always a possibility for leaking even when you’re below the fill line. They should have made the spout extended at a less steep angle.
Second, you need to put the top back on a very specific way and match up two arrows exactly…. Who wants to be fussing with this type of stuff every time you make coffee?! It make it not fun and a chore. “Be super careful, put the lid on exactly right!” Ugh…
The actual functions of the base are fine, but I have a sneaking suspicion the temp isn’t really accurate and under 212.
In the end, my girlfriend said “oh at least it looks nice” so if you’re one of those type that cares more about form over function maybe this is fine. For me, however, I would recommend against buying this product.

It’s a good looking, well made kettle. You can set the Temprature, so you don’t have to always wait for your boiling water to cool down if you don’t need boiling water.it keeps the water hot for a long time even if you turn off the kettle. The only issue that I have is that it goes back to “keep the Temprature for 30 minutes” mode, which is the default setting. I wish it could stay off, but it’s not a big deal. Overall I think it’s a good kettle.

This is an excellent hot water kettle. It’s efficient and easy to operate. Definitely reminds me of the style preferred in Europe where most people heat water this way instead of in a microwave.
The water heats quickly, and the unit itself is very solid and dependable. I highly recommend this product.
