Price was right. Easy install. Holds bike securely. Fits wider MTB tires well. It does have a bit more bulky presence compared to the ones I bought off IG back in the day (road bike picture). This replacement is much better for the wider tires. Maybe a little too much for road bike tires, IMO. Get outside and do some riding!

These wall mount bike racks were easy to install. I installed on a cinder block wall and with the right drill bit I was done in 10 minutes installing. Inserting the bike into the roller holders is very easy and once you have the bike vertical on the rear wheel it is simple to just walk it up to the wall and push gently to hold it in place.

I like the idea of having just a small bracket on the wall that’s not protruding if my bike’s not there. At the same time, the unit is tricky to install because the mounting holes are so close to each other. If you think about the cross section of what you’re drilling into for 2×4, there isn’t that ‘wide’ of a space for the holes to be anchored to the stud. So, does that mean I need to permanently mount another one across, so it gets proper support? I did this temporarily at my mom’s garage easily because the studs are exposed. Once I move my bike back home, I have to think if i want to do the same in my garage.

I have too many bikes (mostly ebikes these days). I have the lighter ones lifted on the wall with another solution I love. I bought this for the heavier bikes. I have my wife’s bike with a front hub motor (250w) standing upright using this mount. Total space saver. It seems very sturdy and I am not worried about it falling over. I bought a second one to use on a Pedego we have too.
As someone else mentioned, if the studs are not in your desired location, just mount another 2×4 perpendicular between studs to give you endless options of mounting locations. I definitely recommend.

Heavy duty screws for install. Just make sure there is a place for the rear tire to rest against.
