This bike clamp has been tested with a 65lb Ebike with no issue even when working and wrenching on the bike it stays relatively steady and sturdy, be sure to have a solid mounting location for sure.. I have this mount on a rolling bench/tabletop with 4×4 legs on it and drilled and bolted the mount onto the bench for a solid attachment to the bench, I did drill some staggered holes on the mount itself and one hole below the mount to get more stability out of the mount knowing I would be occasionally using this for a heavy Ebike… The mechanics of the clamp is easy to use and the angle can be set easily and stays firm once the bike is clamped onto the mount, though to be aware like most bike clamps, it will take a few turns of the cam mechanism to open enough to accept the frame and to clamp it down snugly, and the rubber attachments do a great job to ensure no scratches or damage to the frame or seatpost of the bike.. This is a great mount and is bigger than anticipated which is a plus, great investment…

When I went to wall mount it and saw three inline screws above the bracket center line I thought – surely this is made wrong, lets have a look at the instructions. The instructions show exactly what I see right before my eyes. It’s just staggering how long the chain of incompetence must have been to let this design come out to market.

After drilling two 5/16 holes in 1/4″ steel and quadrupling the install time of this gadget, it was ready to work on a bike. It works great for what it is, the other reviews are spot on. My favorite part about it is, that you can just twist it into “storage mode.” See picture 2

I would rate this at 4 stars if the two faults bellow were not true. 4 mainly because its a royal pain to put the bike in and out of it, it does not open up wide enough – the cam is too small.

-1 star for being priced too high compared to similar products. They can be had for literally half price.
-1 star for the downright foolish mounting hole placement. The least they could have done is drilled out the lower corners. What they should have done was drill out all 4 corners, plus those three.

This review is for CyclingDeal Wall/Bench Mount Bike Repair Stand – Premium Bicycle Mechanics Maintenance Workstand…, $69.98

This device is pretty easy to mount on a wall, but I would recommend drilling a 4th hole near the bottom of the wall plate and using another heavy-duty screw. Because of the nature of the forces on the device, the three screws at the top are unlikely to pull straight out from the weight of the bike, but they could twist if the bike is rotated so that the weight is skewed to one side. Another screw near the bottom will prevent that.

Once mounted, it’s pretty easy to rotate the bike in the orientation you need to work on it. The two cams lock in place snuggly, and the teeth on the rotation plate are going to absolutely keep your bike from twisting, once the cam lever is locked in place.

I used 3 of the 4 screws to attach the holder directly to a stud in my garage. I may add just a short piece of 1×4 on either side to prevent any side-to-side wobble. though it seems secure enough. The bike pictured weighs 44 pounds and it is held in place just fine. As pictured, there is a little more weight towards the back end of the bike, but the clamp holds it tight enough that it doesn’t slide or pivot. I mounted it at a height where I can do basic chain cleaning while sitting, or brake pads and such while standing.
It’s nice and out of the way as opposed to a large stand., however, the downside to having it mounted at a single location is you don’t get any sort of height adjustment. Keep that in mind for what you are looking for.

We wall-mounted this and it works well enough for occasional use. It holds a bike securely and does not slip, but it’s a bit fussy. The frame/post clamp does not have enough travel built into the cam lever; therefore, you’ll need to spin it open, insert the bike, tighten the lever a few rotations and only then can you lock it tight. Not a huge deal but a better design would have made this a simple open/close lever to save time and hassle. Additionally, the rotation is toothed instead of a friction design. This makes it stable and prevents the bike from spinning while working on it, but it also means you cannot easily rotate the bike while working on it. It requires the extra step to unlock that cam, then spin the bike, and hold it while relocking the cam. For example, when routing cables this toothed design adds a small but annoying extra step to rotate the bike to access the bottom bracket and then de-rotate to finish threading cable. Other stands with a friction fit are so quick and easy; of course, those stands have tighter tolerances which are much more expensive. For home use, this repair mount is reasonable. The cams are plastic and I do question how durable those will be in the long run. For now, they work, though not as smoothly as they would if they were metal-on-metal. Overall, this is a functional work stand for the price and one more example of getting what you pay for. You’ll need to decide if this is good enough, or your demands warrant spending a lot more.

Great for bike repairs. Can be wall or workbench mounted. I really like that you can remove the clamp portion to cut down on how far this sticks out from the wall. The clamp itself is sturdy and strong and holds my bike steady for ease of maintenance.
