Necesitaba un pequeño switch para conectividad de red en un espacio reducido. Vi este y me pareció fantástico, la marca es reconocida y las caracterÃsticas asà lo presuponÃan.
El resultado no puede ser mejor. Los componentes y calidad de acabados hacen de este conmutador una apuesta segura. No se calienta, no tiene componentes plásticos, la carcasa metálica le ofrece robustez y calidad.
En definitiva un gran switch para espacios reducidos y pocas conexiones necesarias.

Was having periodic problems with nearly complete loss of loss of WiFi signal on my mesh WiFi6 system, with 60 devices including multiple Sonos speakers on Sonosnet, and eventually found a suggestion that a Ethernet switch with QOS and flow control might resolve the problem. And it did! – have had no recurrence since swapping in this switch between the mother mesh node and a hard wired speaker. Should have tried this weeks ago. Now, speakers, TV, and cameras are coexisting with Macs, iPhones and iPads….

I have always liked D-Link they make quality products. I can count on their products to be what they say they are never any surprises or let downs. I originally bought the D-Link DES-105 Fast Ethernet Switch cause it was immediately available for my sudden work from home covid19 work station. I liked it so much I searched for the best price and availability for the upgrade DGS-105 Gigabit Ethernet Switch and grabbed it. I love the duel green and amber flashing lights on each port indicating status of speed and activity on connections.
Excellent product as expected works flawlessly up and running in minutes out of the box. Simple plug n play no software needed no needed drivers to install.
The quality metal box is a big plus for me has a little heft to it feels good and solid. Sits flat on the desk when cables are attached not floating around like cheap plastic boxes do. Has 2 anchors for wall mounting or 4 stick on rubber feet for desk use.
I recommend this D-Link DGS-105 Gigabit Ethernet Switch to anyone. “If it says D-Link – It Don’t Stink”

Acheté suite à l’installation d’un nouveau matériel qui réclamait une connexion ethernet, ce Switch de 8 ports vient remplacer la version précédente de 5 ports. Malgré cet écart, le Switch est à peine plus volumineux car plus fin.
Ne chauffe pas et surtout ne fait aucun bruit.
Je recommande ce produit.

Ich nutze den D-Link LAN-Switch seit Anfang 2020 und habe ihn mittlerweile ein zweites Mal gekauft, um mehrere LAN-Anschlüsse in einem anderen Raum zu schaffen.
Er ist täglich im Einsatz, sei es für Gaming, Homeoffice oder Streaming auf dem Smart TV.
Die Einrichtung war extrem einfach – einfach anstecken, und alles funktioniert. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und das Design schlicht und kompakt. Bis heute hatte ich keine Probleme oder sonstige Mängel.
Für meine Ansprüche an Anzahl der Slots und Qualität ist der Preis definitiv gerechtfertigt. Klare Empfehlung für jeden, der einen zuverlässigen LAN-Switch sucht.

I needed a switch for my home office. I have an older version of this in my bedroom. Be sure to read the instructions. The lan cable goes in the first connector. You need a power outlet available. I will probably move my Wi-Fi router from the bedroom to the office now that I have extra connections. This switch worked right out of the box.

This is a review of the DGS-105 switch. I’m happy with this switch and the price, performance and features. This switch is connected to my router’s built-in switch on port 5 of the DGS-105. On port 1 I have my office PC and on port 2 I have connected my NAS storage server. I was concerned primarily when buying a switch that it be able to support a fast switch fabric so I can do multiple things simultaneously with no bottlenecks. I have tested the DGS-105 and I am able to get full throughput to my NAS of 115 MB/s read and write while my PC is simultaneously watching iTunes 4K streaming or Twitch. My NAS works with Dynamic DNS so I can access my files while on travel or out of the house and the switch works fine for this purpose and I tested to make sure this works. Works on the DGS-105. I used some adhesive foam tape to tape this to a shelf in my office because the cables coming out of the front can make it tweak or move on the shelf. I was mostly concerned with concurrent transfers when buying this and it works great on my home network with a really easy installation and good performance. If you’re looking for a good switch for a small area of your home or office I would suggest the DGS-105 because it can handle lots of traffic with no seeming throughput issues. I’m happy with this purchase, the quality and the price. Hope this review helps you out. If you’re wondering I’m using the Synology DiskStation DS918+ and this switch can support most of the features I use on the NAS. Works with DS file on Android and streaming to my AppleTV over Samba with no issues.

I bought two of these at separate times. They work just fine for streaming video, downloading/uploading files etc. I haven’t noticed any downgrade in internet speed, seems to keep all my devices connected quite happily. The ethernet for my main desktop computer runs through two of them and the connection is perfect. They are happy to supply multiple devices with internet simultaneously, I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in connection speed. The power cord is a decent length, just be sure there is an outlet close by. There are green lights indicating power and connection. Lights can go yellow or red for a weak/no connection. If a cable is not connected light is off. The device is quite small and discrete enough to keep on a desk or tabletop. It does put off some heat, but unit does stay quite cool to the touch. They work fantastic for any home application. Very well built and sturdy.
Just keep in mind that your IN ethernet cable takes up one spot so you are left with only 4 outputs. There is no delineation between an input and an output, they all use the same ports.

So, after 10 years of using the D-Link Ethernet Switch, it finally gave up. I have been using this exact model to switch between 2 computers that use the same monitor. I use 2 computers and switch between them multiple times a day, daily for 10 YEARS. I would say this item is a winner. The only difference between the old and new is the new one is slightly smaller. Also, I think it cost more 10 years ago.
