S. Goldfield –
Good source of D’Addario Helicore strings at a price less than half what you would pay for them as part of a set. And you can buy more of the individual strings you need.
Norma Alvazaz –
It was great for the short time I had it. The sound was good. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I may have received a defective string which broke. I’ve never broken the G on my violin in my life (only the E) so I thought it was strange to see it bust while tuning it.
MW –
I made a mistake, and only got the G string, as I thought I was ordering a set of strings. But I am happy to have at least the G string for violin.
ruby_cosmo –
Would give zero stars if I could. The string broke before ever getting to G. I took 30 minutes to incrementally tune the string to the desired G and it snapped at F natural almost taking out my eye. Do not buy.

For a beginner I didn’t really know what to get as replacement strings for my student violin. I wanted to get a decent set that was better than the ones that came with my bow. The tone and overall sound changed and after replacing all the strings and I love it. I will more than likely keep using these until I feel the need to explore higher budget setups and different materials. While I am new to all this, I feel that this was a solid purchase and worth it. I would suggest getting a full set rather than one string at a time. Unless you continually break the same string.
Osvald Amazon Customer –
I personally love these strings cause they have such great design and sound with a quick bow response!! If you are looking for great strings that aren’t bad quality these are the ones you should get!!!
Mahesh T Ram –
Very good, perfect tone and quality.
Maria –
Great sounding string. I will purchase again
RedAunt –
I purchased Helicore strings on my instructor’s recommendation. They sound more rich and full than the strings that were included with my student violin.
