Best tenor mouthpiece for Jazz player for quality (no lot to lot difference). I tried Joddy Jazz HR, Otto link Metal too. I enjoyed with Legere signature reed. I am looking for better ligature now. Let me know if you know good combination.

The D’Addario Select Jazz Mouthpiece is the best Jazz mouthpiece on the market. Started using two months ago and it has not left my Mark VI horn. My students are purchasing the mouthpieces and sounding Great!!

  7. Elder Statesman

I have one of these Select Jazz mouthpieces for my alto and decided to try one for my tenor, although I already had a Vandoren V16 T7 in use. Like the alto Select Jazz mouthpiece I found I really love playing it. It is responsive and much ‘crisper’ than the V16 which I rarely play now. So if you are thinking of trying one, do not be put off by the slightly higher price tag compared to similar mouthpieces, I can fully recommend it.
